This is the proposal of Sala do Piano , an environment that won over our readers and is signed by Luiz Fernando Grabowsky for CASACOR Rio 2021 . The numbers speak for themselves: out of a total of 4,168 votes, the Piano Room was voted as the best living room at CASACOR Rio by 34.45% of readers. The poll , which we opened just over a week ago here on the website , featured eleven other incredible environments competing for the title of favorite room at the Rio exhibition. Perhaps the charm of the Piano Room lies in the fact that it is a room that is more than just leisure: it is also a place for contemplation, reception, rest and, who knows, it can even be used to train your musical skills. All of this amid sensorial furniture , which moves between times and reflects Grabowsky's careful work in selecting each piece present there. Here, contemporary furniture appears as a counterpoint to original elements of the house, such as a large chest of drawers by D. José that dates back to the 19th century – a true treasure that the architect decided to keep to give even more value to the decoration. The Icon bookshelf by Jader Almeida is the highlight of the living room, where reissued pieces by Jorge Zalszupin also gain their glory. Works of art and warm elements, such as the rug, complete the composition. Furthermore, it is possible to find the beautiful element that gives the space its name: the large black grand piano , which has resided there since the house was inhabited by its original owners. In the background, the residence's large windows protect the 12 thousand square meters of gardens that make up an ostentatious setting for CASACOR Rio .
