Luiz Fernando Grabowsky – Piano Room. The furniture takes a tour through different eras with a mix of the best produced in national design: there is a large D. José chest of drawers from the 19th century, original to the house, contemporary furniture, such as the Icon bookcase by Jader Almeida, and reissues of pieces from modernist Jorge Zalszupin. All this in an environment dedicated to music, thanks to the piano residing there (since always), and the seating. (Denilson Machado)

The numbers speak for themselves: out of a total of 4,168 votes, the Piano Room was voted as the best living room at CASACOR Rio by 34.45% of readers. The poll , which we opened just over a week ago here on the website , featured eleven other incredible environments competing for the title of favorite room at the Rio exhibition.

Here, contemporary furniture appears as a counterpoint to original elements of the house, such as a large chest of drawers by D. José that dates back to the 19th century – a true treasure that the architect decided to keep to give even more value to the decoration. The Icon bookshelf by Jader Almeida is the highlight of the living room, where reissued pieces by Jorge Zalszupin also gain their glory. Works of art and warm elements, such as the rug, complete the composition.
