For his sixth edition of CASACOR, architect Leandro Sumar has designed an interactive and social bathroom for the exhibition taking place in Balneário Camboriú . Connected to the theme of this year's exhibition, Body & Home , the architect designed a bathroom to cleanse the soul. “The idea is to relax, rest and reconnect with our body, our home. To take care of what moves us, motivates us and inspires us”, explains Leandro. For him, the idea is to awaken in the visitor this experience of choices, experiences and encounters. Right at the entrance we come across a super interactive and sensory hall, with a carbonized wood panel (a popular Japanese technique, over 300 years old, called Shou Sugi Banancestral , vernacular and minimalist), and a natural wooden sculpture, showing us the beauty of nature in its different forms. As you follow the path, reforested wood panels are part of almost the entire space, showing that we can consciously explore our experiences. The organic shape of the space, between rounded walls and corridors, makes the paths to the main room much more fluid. Two other displays are also part of the space, with a place for bathing and washing hands. The environment is harmonious and super symmetrical. CASACOR Service CASACOR SC | 2023
