Brutalist architecture and natural light fill the Arauco Restaurant

In addition to good food and a beautiful space, the Arauco Restaurant , designed by PAR projects for CASACOR Ribeirão 2019 , sought to provide different experiences, whether visual, sensory or even provocative.

For this, some elements were essential. Among them, for example, the possibility of inserting oneself into an artistic installation , of perceiving the space from more than one perspective through the reflection of suspended mirrors , of sitting on the swing while waiting to make the minutes pass by. fun, to touch and be surprised by the pink salt bench, a sensory and unusual surface, among others.

They characterized the different areas of the environment: waiting area, lounge, bar and formal tables, giving them their own personality while at the same time being harmoniously complementary.

The office opted to enhance the existing brutalist structure and made the most of the natural light, both through the high frames on the sides and through the glass façade, which also integrated with the external garden. Highlight the use of conventional clay pots as the base for all the restaurant's formal tables.
