The Suna Reveev Room , designed by Osvaldo Segundo, from the OSA Arquitetura office at CASACOR Santa Catarina 2021 , is a 70 m² space that welcomes the body and soul, combining comfort and minimalism with sensorial textures, which allow for rest and a feeling of peace. "Suna" means sand in Japanese and, as the name suggests, this room seeks feelings of calm and fluidity, celebrating the imperfect beauty and impermanence of life.

Rest is defined by the organic bed , an original creation by the OSA team for the mattress brand Reveev, which has a welcoming feeling in its concept. Its rounded lines and plush fabric refer to the essential shapes of nature.

The project embraces the theme of sustainability in every detail – from the wallpaper to the wooden ceiling , and from the bathroom floor to the sculpture that decorates the space.

Made from natural materials such as cotton, silk and cellulose fibers, with decorative and environmentally safe mineral additives , liquid wallpaper has an easy-to-apply texture.

“The material has exactly the sand-like appearance we were looking for, but with a velvety touch. It combines practicality, aesthetics and sustainability , characteristics we look for in intelligent architecture,” highlights Martina Hasse , the project’s coordinating architect.

After the display, the product can be removed and reapplied, with zero waste . It has the CE seal, a certification that confirms that the product complies with European quality standards, and has been certified as safe for health by the Russian Health Institute.

The floor plan is divided by a large rectilinear portico with smooth edges. Multifunctional, it divides the space into two uses: the rest area , with bed and living room, and the practical area , with bathroom and closet. In the bathroom, the soaking tub is supported by the Mocho bench , by Sérgio Rodrigues , and a low six-meter shelf, which houses numerous candles.
