Paola Ribeiro – Couple’s Room. In the dormitory that housed the former owner of the house for years, the inspiration is feminine – all the works of art are by women. There is a small work space, many shelves that make use of the original cabinets and a privileged view of the gardens. The contemporary furniture (partly designed by Paola in partnership with Maria Cândida Machado) contrasts with the rich architectural details of the residence and helps to create a casual chic style. A longtime CASACOR partner, Paola Ribeiro has a light and elegant style that exudes femininity. This is also the case with her creation for CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2021, which was installed in the room that served for years as a bedroom for the former owner of the house, Odaléa Barbosa .
In the Master Bedroom , all the artwork is signed by women. Divided into two areas, a living room and a suite, the project also houses a small work area , installed near the large windows. The highlight here is the shelves , which hold books, vases and other items inside the original cabinets.
The rich architectural details of the residence , such as arches and boiseries, are combined with contemporary furniture , selected by the architect to create an elegant and balanced look. Many of the pieces are signed by Paola herself, who designed them in partnership with Maria Cândida Machado .
