In the 2025 edition of
CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul,
Portinari makes its mark in one of the most inspiring projects of the exhibition: the Deca Social Kitchen, designed by architect
Lívia Bortoncello. With 119 m², the project proposes a new perspective on the role of the kitchen in daily life, transforming the space into a great stage for meetings, affection, and celebration. To create aesthetic unity and reinforce the connection between the different uses of the project, Portinari slabs emerge as protagonists in columns, countertops, and flooring, creating a visual continuity that permeates the entire architectural proposal. The choice of materials reflects the balance between functionality, durability, and sophistication, essential characteristics for a multi-functional space. Among the highlights is the Gales SGR collection, with Gales SGR product applied in two distinct formats: 120 x 120 cm for the flooring, creating a solid and elegant base, and 120 x 280 cm for the countertops, reinforcing the versatility of the slabs by going beyond conventional use. The soft tone and slightly satin texture bring lightness and naturalness, in harmony with the palette that combines wood, metals, and other elements that warm the eye.

To accentuate the bathing area, the architect chose the Duomo Opala slab (120 x 240 cm, polished finish), which offers a delicate contrast of shine and sophistication. The material creates a surface that stands out without losing harmony with the rest of the project, reinforcing the welcoming and refined character that permeates the entire composition.

More than simply finishes, Portinari's participation in CASACOR RS 2025 is a way to demonstrate how the surface can be narrative, influencing the perception of the project and stimulating sensory experiences. "We believe that the surface has narrative power. Participating in CASACOR is a way to show how design, allied to art, can transform projects into sensory and emotional experiences," emphasizes Patricia Zanivan, Surface Design Coordinator at Portinari. With a striking presence, Portinari reinforces its commitment to innovation, aesthetics, and functionality, inspiring architects and consumers to explore the infinite possibilities that finishes offer in creating more integrated, affectionate, and personalized homes.
