A grand piano, an island-shaped sofa and around 50 seats were harmoniously arranged in the
60 m² of the
Piano Bar , a light and cozy environment at
CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2023. The "magic" performed by architect
Paula Neder was only possible thanks to the
integration of the garden with the visitors , making the environment a type of
lounge-garden – airy, pleasant and inviting.
"We thought of a lounge-garden. To achieve this, the large island-shaped sofa allows visitors to sit around it facing the outside area or even facing the large panel with works of art, but
always in contact with the vegetation inside or outside the space ", explains Paula.
The architecture of the
Brando Barbosa Residence is revered for its choice of
analogous tones , such as the green of the vegetation – both inside and outside – and the fabrics chosen by the architect. The highlight, however, is the ceiling, where the
"lambe-lambe" panel by
Coletivo Muda complements the project harmoniously with color and boldness.
The welcoming space – to enjoy good times, enjoy the sound of the piano and be with friends – features a selection of important Brazilian design, such as the Santoro sofa, which occupies the center of the room, surrounded by furniture by
Aristeu Pires ,
Guilherme Wentz and
Jacqueline Terpins . Highlights include the EP12 mirrors by
Sergio Rodrigues , the João armchair by
Maria Cândida Machado and the Teca trolley by
Jader Almeida .
