Decorative objects, works of art and furniture from the personal and family collection of interior designer Felipe de Almeida , who debuts at CASACOR São Paulo 2023 , help to compose the story of “ Casa Memórias Essenciais ”, a 125 m² space in which the professional advocates a more affectionate connectivity.

Special coatings – such as ceramics made with mud from the Mariana dams in Minas Gerais – are gaining importance alongside the textures of wood and fabrics. “At home, we share our dreams and our table. Our belongings have a life of their own and the walls tell stories,” says the newcomer to the show.

In partnership with André Danemberg , a researcher of furniture and European history and commercial manager of the antique shop Arnaldo Danemberg Collection, the furniture in the room has a special touch.

"Felipe's space at CASACOR promotes the appreciation of memory , which is one of the pillars of antiques. Each of the pieces chosen for the space was found in Europe, brought to Brazil and carefully restored. The furniture carries within itself a century of stories , marks of time and a very great emotional value", says André Danemberg.

Great-grandnephew of the modernist Guilherme de Almeida , Felipe has important references in his family who honed the foundations of his craft. “We created a space where classic and contemporary styles complement each other to tell the story of a home that 'embraces' people,” explains Felipe.
