Number Galeria returns once again to
CASACOR Pernambuco . The space, led by Lúcia Costa Santos, Eduardo Gaudêncio and Ricardo Lyra, is the
official gallery of this year's edition . The project relied on the talent of Casa Arquitetura to bring the space to life.
Aline Nascimento, Clara Rodrigues and Rodrigo Cardoso are the professionals at the head of the
Casa Arquitetura office who had the challenge of bringing together multiple works by names such as
Márcio Almeida, Killian Glasner and Ramsés Marçal .
Speaking of art, CASACOR Pernambuco marks a historic moment: the reopening of the iconic
Chanteclair Building , one of the most imposing in Recife Antigo, which had been closed for more than 20 years. “Participating in this emblematic edition of CASACOR at Chanteclair is more than an achievement, it is a commitment to presenting several works of art to a new audience of connoisseurs and collectors”, says Eduardo Gaudêncio.
The space was designed to be a step down from what is generally expected of a gallery. In this way, he explores the threshold between two concepts:
simplicity and density .
“It is very gratifying to be able to count on the partnership of
great names in Pernambuco architecture , who managed to preserve in their projects
the stories of this historic building and included our multiple contemporary arts in their environments”, adds Eduardo Gaudêncio.
Vibrant colors attract attention and do not compete with works of art. Light and light elements were explored to
enhance the gallery's collection in contrast with textures, colors and shapes, bringing dynamism and innovation.
