Compact living is valued in this loft where wine color is the protagonist

In her 4th participation in CASACOR SC , architect Natália Xavier opted for wine color with aged texture and woody tones to warm and compose her environment – a 58 m² loft. Named Devaneios , the project was inspired by a young lawyer, with his dreams and utopias. The lightness of the space goes against the impression that lawyers have a more austere image and do not know how to slow down. “ The word here is relax ,” says Natália. Thus, the space aims to make the obligations of the profession lighter , in a space for who likes to receive and enjoy friends, music, wine, art. Take off the suit, let's relax . The name Devaneios was inspired by the idea that home is our corner in the world , where daydreams are sheltered, the dreamer is protected and we are allowed to dream in peace. Classic and contemporary merge in the project, which highlights the listed heritage with natural elements. The proposal keeps the layout as integrated as possible – and, on top of that, very functional. The historical appeal that the headquarters of this edition brings, the Silveira de Souza School , contributed (a lot!) to this. The strong color “ Table Wine ” by Tintas Coral is present. Aged walls are no longer indicative of abandonment but have become a trend, creating an effect of depth and expression . Contrasting with the wine tone, there are jequitibá woods, carpets in shades of raw materials, light bed linen and white curtains, which create a space with lightness and comfort that promises to relax the visitor.

Pieces by designers such as Aristeu Pires , Inês Schertel and Victor Vasconcelos were inserted into the space. Without leaving art aside, the project gained two compositions of paintings “ Memórias ”, by the Bahian artist Irley de Jesus , to instigate the affective memory of all who contemplate them, raising the condition of an environment based on a poetic interpretation and also material.
