The Stage of Life , created by architect Livia Quintella for the CASACOR Rio 2024 exhibition , invites self-reflection on human beings, their choices and their role in the world. In this space, one assumes the role of protagonist of one's own life, as Quintella explains: "The decisions we make and the actions we take today are essential to guarantee a better future. The proposal of this environment is to be a stage for us to evaluate our paths, look within and discover who we really are in today's society."

The decoration of the space transcribes the proposal in lines, curves , colors and textures . With a dramatic and poetic look, Livia explores colors and sensations in the space. In an exaggerated and performative way, the emotions and thoughts that make each individual unique come to the surface on the 'Stage'. "This space not only invites introspection, but also celebrates the diversity and uniqueness of each human being ", she comments.

The 100 m² 'Palco da Vida' (Stage of Life) is a real eye-catcher at the entrance: in the outdoor area of the space, a swing surrounded by mirrors in the shape of columns and vegetation welcomes visitors. Behind the columns, a small stage covered in fabric and pendants in exuberant colors invite interaction, proposing an introspective journey. Another highlight of this area are the virtual reality glasses that allow visitors to choose between visiting the past or the future. Also at the entrance, large glass doors with green metalwork, in rounded shapes, act as curtains that open to the public.

The space has a large garden and a common area, which reference the human need to connect with nature and other people. The comfortable living room has many shelves , bringing a more maximalist style and, at the same time, a living home atmosphere, where affective memories are present in the ornaments and paintings .

"The idea is to bring interaction home, nowadays life changes very quickly , why not bring this home?", points out Livia. The textures of the space vary: Maragogi stone brings refinement, while wooden sheets cover the ceiling. The shelves with a more rustic look provide a contrast to the delicacy of the tapestry, as does the wine-colored curtain in light fabric and the rug used to cover one of the walls.
The space has several works of art : works by Bahian artist Irani Rigaud, paintings by artist Leila Nishi, Greghi design, sculptures by Cida Lima and paintings by Ricardo Oliveira. "Using these art items brings even more value to the reflection proposed by the exhibition and the space, about valuing today for a better tomorrow", he concludes.
