Eyeglasses store is covered in wood and filled with colorful furniture

It could be the dream closet for lovers of bold, colorful eyeglass frames, but it was our optician, a long-time partner at CASACOR Rio, who came up with a project with a residential feel and a contemporary touch. The texture of the wood covers much of the space. However, the materials used are very different: vinyl on the ceiling and porcelain on the floor. The walls feature what appears to be a single slab of marble, but it is also large-format Portinari porcelain. (André Nazareth)
