CASACOR SP bookstore bets on wood as the protagonist of comfy décor

In front of books, a Private Infinity opens up, the motto of CASACOR São Paulo 2022. For the 68 m² of the São Paulo exhibition space, architect João Daniel invented shelves that transform into porticos and bring the cozy atmosphere that only libraries can offer. The solution of keeping the ribbed slab existing in the listed building – Conjunto Nacional – visible brings contrast to the project.

The space is filled with wood , which provides the ideal coziness for enjoying a good read. Furniture with organic lines and light tones complete the room's comfy décor . “When we develop our projects, we always worry about the sensations that the spaces will bring to the users. In this project, especially, we plan to bring a provocation by assuming the apparent structure together with the comfort of the other elements”, says the architect through his social networks.
