Preserving history and the effects of time, without neglecting layers of renewal, is the principle of
Living Gameleira , a project designed by the
Luiza Nogueira Arquitetura office at
CASACOR Pernambuco 2023 .

In this way, the environment starts from a neutral base to highlight the
original construction of the building : the
Chanteclair building , an iconic architectural landmark in Recife that is hosting the exhibition this year.

Just like the Chanteclair, the
trees of the Ficus family have a solid structure and foundation, and they are what set the tone for Living Gameleira. Here, the décor highlights what is truly fundamental in living:
the inhabitants and their life stories .
