Inspired by softness and lightness, architect Adriana Piva developed the Bruma Deca Refuge for CASACOR Florianópolis (SC). In the 84 m² space, she designed a cozy route that includes an entrance hall, living room, dining room, gourmet kitchen, barbecue area, wine cellar, and bathroom. To create a serene atmosphere, she focused on natural fibers, organic elements, and curves. "I worked with textures that evoke nature and forms that embrace, so that each visitor feels the welcoming atmosphere," she comments.

The gourmet kitchen, the centerpiece of the project, features a 3.80 m island that serves as both a support for food preparation and a social area. To ensure practicality in daily life, Adriana integrated Deca solutions that expand the work surface and facilitate organization. The Deca Funstation sink, in nano stainless steel finish, comes with incorporated accessories such as a draining board, wooden cutting boards, an ice bucket, and snack bowls. The retractable Deca Inside faucet can be retracted, helping to free up counter space and hide the wet area as needed. The same set includes 40 and 90 cm stainless steel organizer channels, a chrome retractable bench shower, and the asymmetric double supreme sink in stainless steel. Still on the island, Adriana included the launch of the Monocomando Enjoy Pro, which offers filtered, chilled water with two levels of carbonation.

Among the coverings, the launches from Dexco stand out. The island received a sintered stone top Petra Portinari Beige Matte. In the flooring of the entire area, the Tesoro Silver Polished slab 120×240 Portinari creates visual continuity with the Soneto Marble cladding applied in details on the walls. Another important point of the project is the cabinetry, executed by Space Móveis. The Thar walnut pattern from Duratex was used in the planned furniture and in the curved ceiling, forming a true sculptural intervention and an unexpected play of volumes, light, and shadow. "The curves I have in the furniture, I have in the ceiling and throughout the project," explains Adriana. In the barbecue area, the architect maintained a focus on functionality. The rectangular Facile sink 60 × 40 cm with deck and stainless steel accessories accompanies the chrome Level Gourmet faucet, which supports preparation and cleaning without interfering with the aesthetic.

The bathroom stands out for its composition between form and materiality. The sculptural countertop created with strips of the Paraná Gold porcelain from Portinari draws attention in the environment with the white LK toilet and the 50 cm white matte drop-in sink. There is also the Memphis Dark Anthracite faucet and the Dynamic Gold square faucet activation, both from the Deca You line, which reinforce the union between elegance and practicality—two premises of the project. For Helga Dias Junqueira, marketing and branding manager at Deca, the Bruma Deca Refuge synthesizes a new way of living. "It is an example of how kitchens and social spaces transform into places of permanence, with solutions that care for well-being and inspire new ways of living," she concludes.
