Paco Alvarez - La Gruta, projeto da CASACOR São Paulo 2021. Room created to welcome CASACOR São Paulo journalists in 2021, La Gruta represents the search for home and ancestral workspaces. “I wanted to rescue a more primitive and natural house, and one that would be cozy and comfortable to work in”, says interior and product designer Paco Álvarez , responsible for the 35 m² space in the exhibition.
The walls are covered in clay with an adobe texture and palm straw , a material that was also applied to the ceiling. Furniture and lamps are handmade pieces , produced locally by artisans.
