Seed gallery

The Fazendinhado Gallery is a project that goes beyond the walls of its container; it is a seed of change. Designed by Ester Carro, Veronica Vacaro and Plantar Ideias, and located in Jardim Colombo, the space was designed to host exhibitions, workshops and lectures. The first exhibition is a collection of pieces signed by female artists from the community. Inside, the Gallery has five suspended rotating modules, which allow for various layouts. This versatility means the space can host everything from performances to films and exhibitions. Outside, the landscaping on the ceiling and colorful totems creates a social space. public to be used by residents. “The Gallery is here to bring hope to residents, to show that they are capable, with effort and dedication, of generating change. Everyone can be an agent of change. Everyone can exercise their potential as an agent of change,” explains Ester.

Many stories to come

With a large wooden zigzag bookshelf, the Story Box has comfortable furniture and an inviting atmosphere for adults working from home. Its final destination, however, is far from work. It will bring “world stories to children, in amidst colorful tables and poufs.” To accommodate the new activities, some changes will be made. The carpet will be removed, leaving the floor freer, and more cheerful and colorful furniture will be added. On the day the library opens to the community, there will be a special event with the artist Hélio Degasperi. will do graffiti on the external walls.

A kitchen for many hands

Many professionals joined forces to create the Sacolão Freguesia do Ó Healthy Eating Community Kitchen . The project was designed by FAU+D Acolhe, from the Mackenzie Presbyterian University (UPM), and coordinated by architect Rodrigo Loeb. The space will be donated to the Pigeon Shooting Community Center to promote courses, training and events. In addition to the interior, the kitchen has an outdoor area covered by a bamboo structure, built by Gera Brasil, and two side flowerbeds with gardens and vegetable garden.

Let your creativity run wild

Stimulating artistic vision in everyday life was what inspired architect Gustavo Neves to create the Sukha Studio . This creative space was designed to be a place for arts activities for children and teenagers in Cidade Tiradentes. The container is located in the garden of the Cultural Center of Hip Hop and its name “Sukha”, means in Sanskrit “to be at peace with oneself and to be happy in the present time”. The restrained decor has a purpose: it is versatile and allows the space to accommodate various types of work. The cabinets are built-in and the color palette is composed of mineral tones, which refer to the essence.
