Creativity, innovation, and design. These three concepts provided the starting point for the projects of Peugeot at CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2025, held at Shopping Fashion Mall in São Conrado. Signed by architect Bel Lobo and interior designer Mari Travassos, the space Kaleidoscope emerges from a reflection on the term hybrid — the main characteristic of the new models on display at the exhibition. "We thought about the meaning of the word hybrid and played with the kaleidoscope. Both the hybrid and the kaleidoscope represent a fusion of elements that, together, acquire a new form," explains Mari Travassos. Right at the entrance of the projects, therefore, the visitor is confronted with 3-meter-high faceted mirrors, which create a play of reflections, movement, and a multiplicity of points of view. Based on the operation of the kaleidoscope, the project explores this continuous process of combination, transformation, and composition of new images through different prisms. "I think the project gained this dreamlike quality. You propose a break from reality to see the same thing in different ways," comments Bel Lobo, reinforcing the premise of creation. The violet hue is one of the striking points in the interiors: it appears in the large vinyl rug that delineates the exhibition space, in the seating, and also covers the walls. At the center are the models 208 GT Hybrid and 2008 GT Hybrid, the brand's launches in hybrid version, meaning with both combustion and electric engines. In the mirrors, the cars appear multiplied and overlapped, creating a sense of fluidity, speed, and continuous movement, in tune with the spirit of Peugeot. In 2025, Peugeot introduced the concept Drive to Create, which discusses mobility as a platform for artistic expression. The initiative reinforces the desire to bring creativity and innovation closer to the driving experience, going beyond the conventional use of the car. In this way, for the brand, participation in CASACOR Rio de Janeiro naturally integrates into this proposal: it is a way to bring the public closer to a more sensitive outlook on design, architecture, and the universe of art — areas that, like the brand itself, are always reinventing and looking to the future.
