In the evolution of shelter into a place of rest and relaxation,
water has always been a fundamental element. The symbol of life, healing and care presents itself in many forms, enhancing experiences in a
symbiosis between body and space . Combined with the sensations created by textures and lighting, this natural resource invites touch and an
immersive experience that promotes well-being. Immersion is a word rich in intentions and, in this project, it instigates the
poetic desire to dive in .
"
Deca Immersion " is the name of this project by Janaina Araújo for
CASACOR Minas Gerais 2023 that presents new possibilities for interaction between people and homes through the products of the master sponsor
Deca . The harmony between body and home –
the theme of CASACOR's exhibitions this year – manifests itself in different ways in the environment: during bath time, in contact with the stones that form the background of the water mirror that embraces two bathtubs interspersed with a bed, in the presence of art and landscaping, in the design of the crockery and metals.
The intimate proposal, with the use of metals in a Dark Anthracite finish, is softened by the string tone in the crockery and the almond tone present in the accessories and resin bathtubs. Relaxation is further optimized with
immersion baths in the Deca Senses bathtubs with support, composed of Deca You floor-mounted single-lever bathtub mixers.
The
intense and deep palette is enhanced with Portinari coverings. On the walls of the bathroom area, water mirror and countertop, the Audaz collection brings a sober look inspired by volcanic stones, with naturally worn textures. On the floor, Gales reinforces the uniqueness of natural stones, with grainy faces with veins, giving movement to the space.
