Ana Paula Onzi 's bets for
CASACOR Brasília 2022 have a lot to do with the professional's passion for travel. In her debut at the exhibition, the architect seeks to “present an environment that conveys welcoming”, an idea that was the starting point for the design of the 45 m² space.
“The project arose from a piece that plays a leading role in the environment,
a bench that embraces the room , having several functions throughout the space – after all, it serves as a bench, side table, support for suitcases and decoration”, highlights the professional. The choices in the environment reflect the architect's experience on her
travels : the hotels where she stayed, the places she visited and the experiences she accumulated along the way.
Highlighting the subtle integration of spaces: “we used a
ribbon curtain to separate the bedroom from the bathroom, seeking to maintain fluidity, lightness and movement between the environments”. The
neutral base of the
décor allowed the architect to play with
textures and
finishes – which are evident in the carpet, walls and ceiling with Nuage effect, in addition to the slatted bench that holds the sink.
