Home Spa Deca , a project that architect
Daniela Andrade developed for the china and metals brand at
CASACOR Espírito Santo 2024. In its 28th edition, the Espírito Santo exhibition this time occupies the Clube Ítalo Brasileiro, on Ilha do Boi, a region with one of the most beautiful views of the capital. Under the theme “As a Gift, the Now”, the event invites reflection on the best way to live: in the present, the only possible way. From there, the architect traced a path through which the visitor is led in search of this moment of intense connection with himself - starting with his reflection captured by the mirror with organic lines - and continuing through points that reveal design intelligence, such as the basin hidden by the curved wall or the extra countertop washbasin, which provides even more comfort for daily use. As a highlight, the space ends in front of two large windows with an unobstructed view of the sea. “It was no coincidence that CASACOR proposed rethinking the way we deal with the present. Deca’s invitation to address such a relevant issue and the way architecture should make this a reality was a challenge that made us very happy. Our idea was to bring the conceptual and the functional interspersed with the breath and new possibilities that emerge on the horizon”, highlights architect Daniela Andrade.
The elegant materiality creates a visual impact through choices such as the pair of Slim Rectangular Overlay Sinks in White positioned on the fixed countertop, and a separate option in Matte Brown, which stands out as a welcome addition to the routine. Among the metals, the mix of tones is once again present, in a creative solution that punctuates the spa with the Deca You line in Dark Anthracite and Summer Gold. On the floor and countertops, the stone design is featured on the Duomo Opala and Luce di Luna porcelain tiles, both by Portinari, combining beauty and practicality in maintenance. Over its 24 m² area, the bathroom also has a curved wall covered in Portinari's MC Fillet WH to make the use of the White High Tech Basin and the two Square Wall-Mounted Showers with Dark Anthracite Tubes more private. In the background, next to the windows overlooking the sea of Vitória, the Deca Senses Bathtub with White Deck has a stretch of landscaping specially designed to surround it, an irresistible invitation to relax and admire the postcard view. “The Deca Home SPA offers a unique experience that reflects our commitment to well-being, innovation and sustainability. This space is not only an example of functional design, but also an invitation for people to slow down and reconnect with themselves and nature.
