In the vibrant setting of
CASACOR São Paulo 2024 , the space designed by
Gustavo Scaramella impresses with an eclectic and striking design, reflecting the architect's identity and vision. The
Apartment's Hall goes beyond the simple function of reception, offering a complete sensory experience, with soft aromas, captivating melodies and an invitation to relax with a drink.
The 37th edition of
the exhibition, which invites visitors to reflect on the theme " From the present, the now ", challenged professionals to understand how the world lives in the present and sees tomorrow; and, for Gustavo, the answer has never been so clear. “ First, we need to understand and accept that we are individuals formed by different times, places, people, preferences, references, tastes, teachings, styles, etc. With this plurality, I believe that the spaces we frequent must also be an authentic expression of individuality. This will be my legacy ,” he says. Eclecticism as a manifesto of identity
The space is 44 m² and balances eclecticism and aesthetics. A
euphoric palette that highlights the mustard tone brought by the Pantanal Yellow color by Coral, contrasts with the two-tone tauari floor with marble details. Pieces such as the Centopeia bench and the Orgus mirror reflect Scaramella's
mix & match style.
The curved wall with mirrors creates an
optical effect , expanding the space and reflecting items such as the Kegel Kugel lamp and the Bar Parsons table. The painting of Elke Maravilha, by Abidiel Vicente, stands out, bringing
authenticity and diversity .
Conscious design
As a
sustainability advocate, Gustavo Scaramella incorporates responsible design into his work,
reusing materials and choosing
reusable pieces. His Apartment Hallway is more than a work of art; it is an example of conscious design. Avoiding ephemeral fads, Gustavo has created a timeless haven where form, function and ecological responsibility come together in harmony.
“True beauty lies in durability and the ability to reinvent itself. Choosing quality pieces allows them to be reused several times,” explains Gustavo.
