In less than a month,
CASACOR Goiás comes to an end, and among the
40 shelters that debuted at the show on May 10,
Genésio Maranhão 's stands out for its ergonomic design that values meetings and gatherings.
Called
Food, Fun and Art , the 91 m² space combines a grayish industrial style with entirely Brazilian furniture. The pieces reference the best of Brazilian design from the 1950s and 1960s. Genésio also decorated the space with collections of books, handcrafted pieces, items that recall family memories and modern paintings. His appreciation for the arts is evident in the iron bookshelf, which has enough sentimental pieces throughout its length to resemble a little corner set apart from time.
Gastronomic appreciation is one of the guiding principles behind the layout of the space, divided into preparation areas, tasting areas, lounge areas, games areas and a charming garden. The large wooden table is the highlight of the space, intended for preparing and enjoying meals, as well as for dinners and informal gatherings. The designer's intention was not only to provide a destination for meetings, but also to maintain contact with the Brazilian culture of celebrating around the table.
Overlaid with a gourmet island, the wood-covered coffee table contributes to the inviting and warm character, providing the good moments that the meeting immortalizes.
