The fluidity of water inspires the feeling of welcome in the Origens Deca projects
A slight Portuguese accent has taken over the Origens Deca, projects signed by architect Marlon Gama for the brand that is a reference in innovation and design for kitchens and bathrooms at CASACOR Bahia 2025. Elements of traditional tilework bridge the past, a beautiful contrast with the technology available in the metals and fixtures arranged throughout the 68 m² of the living area connected to the kitchen. "The intention was to create a welcoming atmosphere and a connection with the roots. I wanted to bring water not only as a function but as a symbol of ancestry and the flow of life. The integrated kitchen reinforces the role of receiving with affection and awareness," explains architect Marlon Gama.

Under the theme "Semear Sonhos", which guided the creation of the show in 2025, the architect designed a project that promotes a sensory immersion. The shapes of rivers and watercourses subtly appear through materials, textures, and organic shapes, with special attention to the ancient spouts of colonial Portuguese houses, so present in Bahian architecture. "The project sensitively translates what Deca believes: design as cultural language, solutions that evoke emotions and value collective memory. Origens Deca dialogues with the brand's DNA and reinforces our commitment to an aesthetic that respects time, the environment, and the stories that constitute us," states Helga Dias Junqueira, Marketing and Branding manager of Deca.

The dialogue between tradition and innovation takes on contemporary contours through design. The ritual of receiving becomes more elegant and functional with two highlights: the first is the Funstation Sink, with various accessories that provide extra help in kitchen functionality, along with the Deca Inside Retractable Monocomando, which can be hidden inside the sink, expanding the countertop area and the space for interaction, completing the assembly on the support counter under the rounded opening. In the central island, the focus is on the Rectangular Dream Sink in copper color, along with the Deca Colore Corten and Brown Monocomando, which lead to shades closer to those found in nature.

The composition of reserved pieces for the shelf serves as a manifesto of contemporaneity. The Deca You Wave Dynamic Lilac Bathroom Faucet and the Deca You Round Summer Gold Bathroom Faucet add an extra layer of personality to the space. The daring modernity also gets focus through the choice of coverings. For example, the Gales SBE NAT 90x180 porcelain tile, which covers the back counter, while the Lastra Recital WH 320x160 stands out on the island. Floors and walls showcase the Gales SBE HARD 120x120 porcelain, elegantly and balancedly concluding the proposal.
