Erick Figueira de Mello - Espaço Figueira. What was once the garage and service area of the Brando Barbosa Residence has gained a new vocation with CASACOR Rio: that of a gastronomic complex. And this year, the various spaces (restaurant, wine bar, salad bar and pizzeria) are under the direction of a single architect, who has invested in the Brazilianness of classic and timeless materials: wicker, straw, Brazilian basketwork, faux bamboo, hydraulic tiles. Many of them were created exclusively by the architect for the show and used with harmony and charm. (André Nazareth)

Espaço Figueira, by Erick Figueira de Mello. Environment of CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2022. The idea is to cross the garden, a completely wooded area, with landscaping designed by Daniela Infante , from Arteiro, with tropical plants and a jabuticabeira garden. The visiting route passes through the restaurant, which uses Imi furniture, in white and green faux bamboo . At the front of the space, furniture from Franccino Giardini , all in a very organic way.

Porto Divino's drinks lounge will have a contemporary touch with the Bask line, from Lattoog for Novo Ambiente, in green and black, reminiscent of wicker chairs from the 1950s . The pizzeria follows the relaxed atmosphere and has everything to be the highlight of the event. The entire menu is being developed with the idea of not following fads , favoring traditional dishes that are present in emotional memory.
"I was in Paraty and Tiradentes looking for references, materials and special ingredients for this project", says Erick.

The space's partners also include the construction company Stewart, Vimoso and Arnaldo Danemberg furniture, lighting with items from Lumini, umbrellas from Arq Design, Amorim curtains, Vent Decor fans, fabrics from Prints, coverings from Sttone, Coral paints, products from Deca and sound design for High End.
