Bia Kestering , a professional who delved into the study of the theme “Body & Address”, which leads the creations of the cast in 2023 from all over Brazil. “Our space was created based on the concept of
bringing mental comfort to the resident . From this perspective, we consider that within us there is a duality reflected in the personality and materiality of the space”, says the professional about the process.
Of the dimensions that make up contemporary life, where the boundaries between inside and outside are constantly changing, Bia places the human being at the
meeting point between opposites . Right in the middle of the convergence line. “The world outside can be urgent and hectic, but within this space we can
focus on what protects and calms us . I believe that adversities in the world happen and we are forced to adapt. It's survival. Spaces need to promote this
adaptation consciously , and allow changes to occur. We are increasingly part of globalization and this makes us more conscious and changeable individuals”, explains the architect and urban planner.
Plural space
Neutral and colorful. Raw and delicate. Essential and desired . Gourmet OPPONERE, according to Bia, goes beyond the binary limitation of choices and absorbs the characteristics considered “opposites” with great balance. “On the one hand, the natural, light and cozy embraces us, bringing a familiar aspect! Tradition mixes with design, but does not lose its essence. The trait brings the
inner peace we need amid the unpredictable and exhausting routine we are living. The other side plays with the universe we live inside our mind! When we access our mind, it still carries traces of our reality, but we can recreate it the way we want.
This is how we write new stories for our future and allow ourselves to dream . And this is where duality manifests itself: We are what is familiar and protects us, but we are also what we dream of and what we project onto ourselves”, he conceptualizes.
Affection, private and family memories will be represented through the choice of decorative elements. The presence of plants will also be essential to
awaken creativity and well-being in the use of space , added to the practicality of technology not only for navigating social media, but for human enjoyment.
