Taking a moment to breathe, enjoy contact with nature and sharpen the senses is increasingly a trend. With this in mind, professionals Ana Cristina Emrich and Juliana Durando , who lead the JADE Arquitetura e Design office, sought to bring this essence for its debut environment at CASACOR Goiás 2022 . Named Espaço Hausz , the space is presented as a 104 m² gourmet balcony that highlights the theme of the exhibition – the Private Infinite.

“Our intention was to transform a functional space , such as a balcony, into a refuge, a sanctuary for emotions. To do this, we created several invitations for people to enter their private infinities through small rituals,” highlight Ana Cristina and Juliana. Considered a leisure retreat, the living space proposes the union of modern and rustic , managing to bring the farm atmosphere to an urban balcony.

To achieve this, the professionals carefully curated the materials, prioritizing natural elements – such as wood, exposed brick and burnt cement, which create a composition with more modern elements, such as metal structures and porcelain countertops.

Spacious and airy, Espaço Hausz is divided into two parts – on one side, a social area is perfect for good conversations and, on the other, a large counter with a barbecue is an invitation for gourmet moments.

Close to the entrance and bathed in natural light and ventilation provided by the brise-soleil, the living area is welcoming, delimited by a strip of wood on the floor. “We opted for loose furniture that flows smoothly. The sofa has a knitted blanket to snuggle up in, and the armchairs are great for relaxed conversations. The large dining table invites you to have good conversations over wine.” , they explain.
