Designed for the 36th edition of
CASACOR São Paulo , the
Family Bathroom environment, designed by architects
Daniel Szego and
Fredy Terzian , from the Geração Arquitetura – Szego and Terzian office, brought as a concept an
urban and functional bathroom , inserted in the context of Avenida Paulista, but with the concern of bringing
sustainable and reusable elements .

Entre eles, estão as telas de aço pré-fabricadas, que serão reaproveitadas ao fim do evento, e o concreto modular, utilizado no balcão multifuncional, onde foi instalado um filtro de água. Covering
54 m² , the space stands out for the presence of elements such as a
modular concrete counter with a sustainable concept . “The piece works as
a water filter and can be reused after the exhibition. The distant piece is used as a sink, baby changing table and counter for preparing baby bottles”, explain the architects.

The second element that served as a guiding thread for the space is the
prefabricated steel screen that can be reused in civil construction . “The choice to use prefabricated screens was made because they bring an
urban aspect to the space. They also leave the natural roof exposed, enhancing the original structure of the historic building,” reveal the architects.
The theme of the exhibition, which this year refers to "
Body & Home ", was inserted into the bathroom in a conceptual way. "Our space brings together the whole aspect of body and home, in addition to being functional, the space refers to
urban homes that can surprise us in every detail, mixing cold elements such as
concrete and
steel with welcoming pieces such as the
terrarium ."
