CASACOR Windows Challenge: Listen to Green takes the home office to the forest

Beatriz Quinelato distilled the daily life of social isolation in her space Escute o Verde , for the Janelas CASACOR Challenge . As a response to a time when many spend their days between the desk for remote work and the sofa for entertainment of series and films, The professional created, in just four days, a home office and living room. What draws the most attention to the project is the striking presence of vegetation. The plants are responsible for keeping the occupant connected with the outside in a harmonious way, even when in seclusion. To create this small jungle inside and outside the container, the architect chose to use tropical vegetation with lush species. On the back wall, a large photograph creates a feeling of being outdoors.

Nature takes center stage so much that there are only four pieces of furniture: a sofa, a coat rack/mirror, a table and a chair. They follow the green palette and feature wooden details. The process of self-discovery that many have gone through during quarantine is represented by the mirror. .
