For this edition of CASACOR São Paulo , architect Daniela Funari , head of her eponymous office, highlighted the three central pillars of this year's theme, " From the present, the now ": ancestry, legacy and contemporaneity. In her project, which houses the entrance lounge and ticket office , entitled " Soils
", she celebrates Brazil's geological diversity through regional colors and textures, highlighting the rich source of inspiration that is Brazil. “ Our country is a rich source of inspiration for architects and artists to celebrate all this vibrant diversity in their creations ,” highlights the professional, who is making her debut at the São Paulo exhibition. The colors of the project were inspired by the dunes and sands of the North and Northeast of Brazil. The wavy wall is reminiscent of Lençóis Maranhenses, and the terracotta on the headboard evokes the red lands of São Paulo and Minas Gerais. Daniela Funari Arquitetura - Ambiente Solos. The space, measuring approximately 130 m² and with double-height ceilings, houses the ticket office, entrance hall, cloakroom and also serves as a passageway to the exhibition. Daniela designed a generous portico in sync with the open shelves and which follow the earthy tones of the Colores DRD NAT covering, by Portinari. A Michelangelo Napoléon Bordeaux marble bench, Coral Office chairs by Lattoog and furniture by Dunelli complete the welcoming environment.

For the wall of the entrance hall and garden, a sculptural work by the artist
Mauro Frazão from Pernambuco. Lining the lounge, a large geometric rug, designed by
Rapha Preto , entitled “Courage”; and, on the organic wall that closes the room and leads visitors to the cloakroom, visual arts take center stage with the “Rare Lands” collection, a series of paintings by
Annike Limborço that reinforces the importance of geology and Brazilian nature.
