Friends for a long time and compatriots from Bahia, the clients wanted to renovate the old kitchen and asked architect João Gabriel – from the CASACOR Bahia team – for a lively and colorful space.

"We took a careful look at every detail, highlighting the importance of identity and affection in the choice of materials and elements," says the professional.

The green color – favored by the resident – frames the door wall and also appears in the joinery and in the plants carefully spread around.

"One of the main challenges was the lighting, since the projects do not receive direct natural light," says João. LED profiles, spots, and pendant lights were carefully spread around to solve the issue. The white countertop and the light-colored overhead cabinets also assist in diffusing the light.

The round table optimizes the space and is accompanied by yellow chairs, one of the few points of color in the space, besides the green itself.
