CASACOR São Paulo 2022 has gained an emblematic address to celebrate its 35th anniversary: the largest decoration exhibition in the Americas takes place until September 11th at Conjunto Nacional, an iconic building on Avenida Paulista, designed by David Libeskind. This year, the 59 environments are inspired by the theme of Particular Infinity Cosentino is taking part in the celebration in style: the global leader in the production and distribution of innovative and sustainable surfaces is presenting a proprietary space in 2022. Named Casa Cosentino Embaúba , the project designed by Lucas Takaoka brings a message of reconstruction and hope, while also while using a wide range of Cosentino products in a 220 m² space. Casa Cosentino Embaúba , Cosentino's proprietary space at CASACOR São Paulo 2022, is designed by architect Lucas Takaoka and is inspired by the embaúba, a native Brazilian tree that, in nature, is responsible for the regeneration of deforested areas or those undergoing recovery. With 220 m², the environment invites us to reflect on the redefinition of our own lives and how to rebuild outdated and fragile points to preserve, in the best possible way, our future.
Silestone® in the Faro White shade appears on the kitchen countertop and island.

“It is a project that represents our search over the last two years, when the details of our lives were being minutely altered, as our body analyzed our needs,” explains Lucas. For him, nowadays, we are establishing new priorities, valuing more the time and seeking more contact with nature. “And just like the embaúba, which balances the forest, we are also experiencing a moment of reconstruction”, he adds. To cover the flooring of the entire Casa Cosentino Embaúba, the architect chose to use the ultra-compact Dekton® surface in the color Danae. The pattern features different shades of beige, which give lightness and movement. The same covering appears on the fireplace and walls of the bathroom.
The Faro White shade, which is part of Sunlit Days, the first carbon-neutral Silestone collection, appears in the Casa Embaúba suite.

In the suite, Lucas used Silestone® in the shade Faro White, which is part of Sunlit Days, the first carbon-neutral Silestone collection. Faro White represents the white of the Mediterranean and its sun-drenched walls. It is inspired by the lighthouses that point to the ship path and has a silky, soft texture. The same pattern was also applied to the kitchen countertop and island.
The ultra-compact Dekton® surface in the color Danae appears on the flooring throughout the house and on the bathroom walls.

2 - Light and Shadow, by Leo Shehtman


Dekton® in the Kovik shade, applied to the gourmet kitchen countertop, is inspired by natural materials and features neutral tones and subtle graphics.

A veteran of CASACOR São Paulo, Leo Shehtman - who has participated in the São Paulo show 34 times - presents in this edition a playful space, with light touches, which takes advantage of the play of light and shadow in architecture. In this way, the natural beauty of the materials is highlighted. amidst the black and white decor. Leo schetman casacor Dekton® in the Kovik shade, applied to the gourmet kitchen countertop, is inspired by natural materials and features neutral tones and subtle graphics. The veins with natural movements are integrated into a light gray background. The countertop was made by Ranieri Mármores .

3 - Verso Space, by Carolina Scarpelli


Dekton® Danae appears in coverings and mirror frames, creating different shades of beige.

Making her debut at CASACOR São Paulo, Carolina Scarpelli designed the 36 m² unisex bathroom, featuring a design inspired by the blend of Greco-Roman style combined with technology and contemporary design. The arrangement of the mirrors creates the effect of infinite reflections and allows visitors to perceive the space as a whole.
The applications on the doors are also made of Dekton® Danae. The color is inspired by the tones of sand that moves in the desert.

Dekton® Danae is used in the cladding of the space, in the mirror frames, in the door applications and on the bathroom countertop . This color, like the sand that moves in the desert, brings different shades of beige that are reflected along the surface. . The work is carried out by Di Pietra marble company.

4 - Ostuni Studio, by Gregory Copello


Following the inspiration of the white houses in the city of Puglia, the furniture was made with Dekton® Aura, a pattern that pays homage to Calacatta and Carrara marble.

Known as the “white city” of the Puglia region of Italy, Ostuni has all the walls of its houses painted white, which makes it unmistakable even from afar. With this inspiration, Gregory Copello created a studio composed of elements that bring a sense of of belonging and acceptance.

Inspired by the Swedish concept of lagom, which means "not too much, not too little, but enough", the 60 m² project was designed with simplicity in mind, valuing the resident more than anything else. Juarez Cruz opted for balance and invested in a neutral color palette and touches of wood, as well as simple solutions that integrate the environments.

For the kitchen countertop, the professional specified Silestone® Faro White, which is part of Sunlit Days, the first carbon-neutral Silestone collection. Faro White represents the white of the Mediterranean and its sun-drenched walls, symbolizing purity, simplicity and serenity. The Horizonte Acabamentos marble company is responsible for the execution of the piece.

6 - Botanical Studio, by Helô Marques


Part of the Sunlit Days collection, the Silestone® Posidonia Green countertop has a hue reminiscent of seabed meadows.

Helô Marques ' studio presents the concept of a greenhouse, a space that refers to a return - almost uterine - to the natural and protected world, that is, a return to our first home. In the conception of the project, the telluric elements, which give meaning and supporting life in all its aspects, gain prominence.

Nature is reflected in the materials used in the furniture, coverings and accessories. On the countertop, Silestone® Posidonia Green, from the Sunlit Days collection, complements this feeling. The name of this pattern comes from the green of the posidonia meadows, Mediterranean aquatic plants.

7 - Loft One, by Gustavo Martins


On the kitchen countertop, Silestone® Cincel Grey presents a silky, fine-grained grey tone and stands out even more when bathed in light.

The 67 m² loft reflects the living of a person who seeks to express their identity in a space full of meaning and that conveys belonging and protection. There, art and technology take center stage, without neglecting practicality and comfort.

For the kitchen countertop, Gustavo Martins chose Silestone® Cincel Grey, which features a silky, fine-grained grey tone. The neutral tone is versatile and balances warm and cool. When bathed in light, it stands out even more. The execution of the bench bears the signature of Alfa Marmoraria.

8 - Paulista Apartment, by Weiss Architecture


The kitchen countertop was fitted with Silestone® Ethereal Glow, a new product from Cosentino, which references the marbled style.

Inspired by the theme of Private Infinity, Tide Junqueira and Bárbara Garcia, from the Weiss Arquitetura office, were inspired by their own stories to create the project of just 37 m²: the studio was designed for a person who lives in a welcoming, practical and full of space. art. That is when the resident is not traveling and seeing the world.

With a cozy decor, the space features the application of Silestone® Ethereal Glow, a new product from Cosentino, on the kitchen counter, which references the marbled style. Its golden and gray veins were inspired by the sunset and have a white tinted background. It is an evolution of the acclaimed Eternal series . The countertop was produced by Marmoraria Paraíso das Pedras.

9 - Mist House, by Lydia Maciel


Silestone® Unsui in dark brown makes up the flower boxes. The same surface makes up the sideboard that serves as a bar.

The curtain that separates the 110 m² house from the walkways of Conjunto Nacional works like a mist - or fog, as the name suggests. This was the method that Lídia Maciel chose to create a point of convergence between the coziness of the interior and the architecture from the outside. A meeting between past and present.

Dekton® Aeris is used on the fireplace and Silestone® Unsui in a shade close to dark brown is used on the flower boxes - the color contrasts with the green of the plants. The same material is used on the sideboard. On the wall frame, Silestone® Blanco Zeus It brings spaciousness to the room and light to the plants.

10 - Casa Vértice Dunelli, by Patrícia Hagobian


In the bathroom, a bench made with Silestone® Et. Statuario complements the countertop made of Dekton® Bergen marble.

Measuring 130 m², the space pays homage to the history of Conjunto Nacional by establishing dialogues with the architecture of the building itself, creating an intersection between past and present and bringing to light current issues and concepts of new living, such as slowness and wellness .
