As an ephemeral space, the Coffee Shop designed by Bel Lobo for CASACOR Rio 2017 is simple and uses few materials and coverings , in order to reduce costs and meet the tight deadline. (Fábio Fernandez/CASACOR)
The idea was to create a space within a space. A suspended object inserted into the existing environment marks the new occupation of the room while at the same time maintaining its original characteristics. (Fábio Fernandez/CASACOR)
The new wooden structure makes room for a bench, a bench and shelves. (Fábio Fernandez/CASACOR)
The installation also has a strong graphic design , as it repeats the floor pattern on all the upper surfaces of the furniture and as the mirror on the ceiling repeats it. (Fábio Fernandez/CASACOR)
Each use is demarcated by the gaps in the structure. Furthermore, by repeating the floor design on all the upper surfaces of the furniture, a play on the reflection in the mirrored ceiling is proposed and an installation with a strong graphic language is created. (Fábio Fernandez/CASACOR)
