With an intimate atmosphere and Brazilian art, this bookstore is a highlight of CASACOR

Among the trends created in the universe of CASACOR São Paulo 2023 , hospitality has become increasingly present. These characteristics transcend housing, are installed in collective areas and are valued in Livraria Com Arte , developed by professionals Nana Cunha, Caru Cunha and Sílvia Camargo , to house the collection of Paisagem Livraria , a reference for 40 years in the art book segment. “The inspiration for our project was based on the desire to encourage visitors to be present as an invitation to exploration and individual and collective discoveries, connecting the body and the home, combining moments of contemplation or greater interaction with other people,” explains Caru Cunha . Right at the entrance to the 70 m² space, visitors breathe the Amazon in a nocturnal atmosphere , a dark space with references that remind us of our nature. Impeccable carpentry serves as a backdrop to support the art books. From the symmetrical niches to the independent lighting tracks, which direct the small spotlights to the exquisite collection , everything is aimed at highlighting each item with elegance and sobriety. In the central layout, the voluptuous table interrupts the circulation and supports iconic books selected to pique the curiosity of those who are looking for art as a source of information. Among the publications, works by renowned Milanese architect and designer Gio Ponti are accompanied by the beautiful hardcover edition by German publisher Taschen, in homage to the legacy of Italian fashion designer Emilio Pucci .

The power of landscaping also emerges in the arrangement of vases and plants that adorn the back of the bookstore. The work involved the curved wall in the small garden that surrounds the blue pouf positioned there, a piece that received an honorable mention from the Museu da Casa Brasileira, designed by Betina Lafer, creating a new relaxation area illuminated by the methacrylate, technopolymer, and aluminum pendant by Ross Lovegrove for Artemide.
