Gourmet barbecue impresses with integration and biophilic design

The spacious and integrated environment of the Criare Gourmet Barbecue , designed by Mariana Paula Souza for CASACOR Paraná 2021 , was designed as a space to bring the family together, receive and bring people together and has a gourmet barbecue with functional space and TV room. With the aim of using biophilic design , the project makes extensive use of plants and natural elements, such as wood and straw panels. “Studies show that wood relaxes the autonomic nervous system, reducing stress-related responses. In addition, it offers visual connections with nature due to the abundance of types, textures and colors,” says the architect, who applied light tones , laminated veneers natural wood, sand -colored panels and Duna pattern, which simulates leather. In the living area, Mariana opted for a large sofa . In addition to being able to enjoy a movie, the space allows guests to gather for a good wine with the fireplace lit. The open-space shelving unit allows residents to place their personal items, as well as providing space for plants . In the background, the natural stone is highlighted by indirect lighting . The furniture was designed by the architect especially for CASACOR Paraná 2021.
