The Friends Lounge, at CASACOR São Paulo 2017 , is a space for socializing and leisure, with an engaging and relaxing atmosphere for entertaining. This is the proposal of interior designer Patrícia Hagobian for the 31st edition of the show. “My inspiration came from natural elements such as wood, and rustic elements such as burnt cement, which, when combined, result in a sophisticated and cozy combination”, highlights the professional. Designed for those who enjoy spending time with friends and family, the lounge has a living room with a reading area, a common area and a bar. Measuring 89 m², the space is divided by acrylic screens with a light wooden border, which demarcate each room while also integrating them. Along its 20 m length, one wall was covered with a slatted wood panel. The ceiling and walls were given an Italian texture, reminiscent of burnt cement, a pattern reproduced in the porcelain floor tiles. The stage lighting has spotlights at specific points, enhancing the works of art. The highlight of the living room is the lead bookcase, designed by the architect. Next to it are two works of art from the Eduardo Fernandes gallery. Next, the living room is made up of a large curved sofa with a straight back. The bar's buffet is pistachio green, a color that is present in several elements of the space, including the artwork. The Carrara marble flooring adds to the elegance of the space, along with a round white table with pastel pink chairs. Highlights include two paintings with photos by Pedro Ariel Santana, taken in Morocco, which tie the project together and make the Friends' Lounge even more special.
