Residents are always concerned with the well-being and comfort of those who live there every day. That is why professionals are so concerned with adapting solutions to the client's needs. But, in addition, the home needs to be prepared to welcome visitors, friends and family. And with a focus on welcoming guests, we selected spaces from
CASACOR Santa Catarina 2016 that promote ideas that align living with quality and the pleasure of welcoming.
The contemporary design of the
Living Room designed by architects Christina Lago and Gabriel Hering contrasts with classic elements, such as the preserved floor and ceiling, which avoided wasting time and materials and respected the architecture and history of the residence. The space, measuring just 16 m², features an unusual combination of MDF patterns and various lighting solutions, without creating technical or aesthetic conflicts. The project reinforces the idea of living well with well-resolved aesthetics and functionality, and offers tips for those who want to preserve the original paintwork of the house, using panels to conduct the electrical installation. Highlights include the artwork by Rodrigo de Haro from Santa Catarina and the Sky Garden pendant light by designer Marcel Wanders. A beautiful, small room that is perfect for entertaining!
The
Host's Kitchen , by architect and urban planner Mariana Pesca, presents a contemporary, masculine atmosphere in 25.5 m². The entire functional part of the kitchen is covered with Neolith, a product composed of selected natural raw materials, which after a compacting process, gives the final product a high-performance surface. And while the host prepares the meal, his guests can chat and interact at the central table in the space. Among other highlights, the kitchen has a self-irrigating vegetable garden, in order to always have fresh herbs, with little maintenance.
Architect Thais Giusti designed the 14.5 m²
Lunch Room , inspired by historical heritage sites with strong identities, such as the Louvre Museum, the Pinacoteca de São Paulo and the Historic Center of Azerbaijan. She created a contemporary intervention with timeless elements, such as stone, wood and glass. The walls are decorated with hand-painted Spanish tiles from the 1950s, custom-made for the house. The ceiling is designed with wooden beams and turned details on the sides, and the floor is made with hexagonal white tiles with light blue flowers. Thais designed the furniture using metallic brown lacquer. The result is a functional and sophisticated space that welcomes its visitors!
