Nildo José | NJ+ Arquitetos - Casa Coral Celeiro Alvorada. CASACOR São Paulo 2026 presents an edition that invites the public to slow down and reconnect with what is essential. In its second time at Parque da Água Branca, the show proposes an experience deeply connected to nature, well-being, and human relationships, translating the theme Mind and Heart into a journey that integrates architecture, landscaping, design, culture, and affection. With more than 10,000 m² of built area, the event presents 70 projects that blend architecture, landscaping, design, and art, harmoniously integrating houses, studios, lofts, tiny houses, and installations amid the park's preserved vegetation. Of this route, 40% of the show is open to the public, expanding the integration between CASACOR and the daily life of the park.

Amid the increasingly accelerated presence of artificial intelligence in daily life and the effects caused by information overload, this edition of CASACOR proposes an invitation to the senses: a pause. The theme Mind and Heart reveals the strength of other intelligences — organic, psychic, ancestral — as paths to reconnect with ourselves, with others, and with the space we inhabit.

Right upon arrival, visitors are enveloped by the atmosphere of the edition through the muxarabi façade developed by José Luiz Favaro and Yuri Matsui Ramos. Like a membrane between the park and the show, the structure outlines the perimeter without completely hiding the interior, preserving transparencies and creating a sensitive transition between two universes. Its organic cutouts filter the light and project shadows that mix with those of the vegetation, inviting the public to slow down and gradually cross over into the CASACOR experience.
The first garden of the edition, signed by Ana Lui and Karen Marini, leads visitors along a path between flowers and foliage to one of the symbols of the show: the ticket office created by Viviane Teles. Seen from above, its structure forms a large mandala. The project explores what the architect calls organic intelligence, in dialogue with bioarchitecture and experimental bamboo constructions. These two introductory projects set the tone for Mind and Heart, a theme that investigates the purpose of the materials, symbols, and gestures that make up the Latin American home.

Conceived from a seminar held at Sesc Pompeia, with the presence of Teles, Maria Homem, and indigenous leader Carlos Papa, the theme presents itself as a counterpoint to the modern ideas of the home as a support for progress, efficiency, and the maintenance of a productive life.
Following the route, Pam Faccin's project addresses one of the central issues of heritage: how to preserve a park that, over time, has also incorporated exotic species? The landscape designer responds with an investigation of the territory's original biome, exclusively using species from the Atlantic Forest and treating landscaping as a form of listening to and recognizing the place. The large plaza in front of the historic buildings, created by Maria Fernanda Marques Paisagismo, broadens this relationship between architecture, nature, and care. Among centuries-old trees, the project proposes insect hotels — structures designed to attract, protect, and shelter pollinators, such as solitary bees, and helpful insects, such as ladybugs and lacewings.

The entire outdoor project was executed on a raised floor, preserving the soil and minimizing environmental impacts, while the gardens were implemented in pots. The lighting was also carefully planned so as not to interfere with the local fauna, especially nocturnal animals.

Throughout the route, CASACOR São Paulo 2026 brings together projects that translate the theme Mind and Heart in different scales of experience — from the home to the garden, from contemplation to gathering. In Building 23, visitors enter the exhibition through a hall featuring an installation by Paulo Azevedo, conceived as a cabin of affective memories and contemplation. Among the highlights are Casa Magma Portinari, designed by Suite; the house with a veranda created by Dado and Guilherme Castello Branco for Deca; the projects by Gabriel Fernandes for Simonetto, in tribute to architect and designer Janete Costa; and the spacious house by Nildo José for Coral, in which paints and textures showcase the brand's trends.

The experience continues through projects that explore different ways of living, such as the studios by Felipe Saurin and Studio Costa+Azevedo for Mercado Livre, the loft by Léo Shehtman, the Casa Jacob | Itaú Personnalité by Felipe Carolo, the Rio-bossa loft by PN+ | Paula Neder, and Casa Brastemp, designed by Marcelo Salum, with a pop atmosphere, red tones, neon lights, and playful references. In the outdoor area between the buildings, the spotlight is on Refúgio Fleury, created by Estúdio Musgo by Denis Bessa in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Fleury group, and the glass house by Felipe Rossi, which integrates indoor and outdoor areas and lets nature in.

In Building 22, the route begins with the Arena do Conhecimento, designed by Senac-SP + Estudio Guto Requena, in an unprecedented initiative that brought together students to create a space dedicated to lectures, meetings, and debates on innovation, sustainability, and technology in architecture. With the support of Lar Center, the programming will be open to the public and begins with the Senac Knowledge Week, from June 9 to 12.
The building also brings together projects dedicated to new ways of living, working, and coexisting, such as the universal studio by Letícia Nannetti Arquitetura, designed from the perspective of timeless accessibility; the Mesa Viva restaurant, by Marta Martins Arquitetura; the Brastemp Show Kitchen, by Beatriz Quinelato Arquitetura; and the co-living by Eduardo Baldelomar, from Bolivia, inspired by a historic region of his country, marked by Baroque architecture and Guarani heritage. The CASACOR mall expands the experience with shops and cultural spaces, such as the Gustavo Eyewear store, designed by HM Arquitetura, and the MASP store space, developed by Studio Garoa. In the final stretch of the building, the Café Livraria with Chocolat du Jour and UniSaber, designed by Studio Sitta+Barbo, proposes a space for lingering and gathering.

The route returns to the outdoor areas with projects integrated into the park, such as the tiny house with gym and sauna designed by Carol Barreto Arquitetura for Denza, the bar designed by Aria Studio, the garden by Pedro Rabelais Paisagismo, and the last tiny house of the circuit, designed by Volar Interiores. The closing passes through the garden by Alexandre Galhego Paisagismo, which leads the public to Forneria San Paolo, by Stage.AEC, and through the installation by Hugo Ribas, with commissioned works by the Manaus-born indigenous artist Auá Mendes.

The edition also strengthens the dialogue between art, territory, and creative process. In 2026, CASACOR São Paulo commissions works by artists Charles Lessa, from Ceará; Jorge Souza, from Pernambuco; and Carol Ambrósio, from São Paulo, following the production of the works in their regions of origin and expanding the presence of art as a narrative axis of the show. Sustainability and environmental impact
CASACOR São Paulo is currently the only cultural exhibition in Brazil with zero-waste operations. All waste generated by the show is diverted from landfills and reinserted into the production chain or directed to social impact initiatives.
The landscaping of the 2026 edition follows even stricter guidelines to ensure the preservation of the gardens of Parque da Água Branca. There was no interference with the trees in the park, which are part of the listed environmental heritage and whose management is carried out exclusively by the concessionaire responsible for the space.

Also following the guidelines of the previous edition, all the vegetation used in the show was kept in pots placed on the ground, without direct planting in the beds, allowing its removal after the end of the event. The chosen species follow specific criteria and may not be toxic to animals or have thorns.
The lighting of the outdoor areas also followed specific parameters aimed at environmental preservation, designed by Estudio Carlos Fortes. The projects use light with a color temperature of 1,800 K, in a yellow-reddish tone, and CRI above 90 — characteristics that reduce impacts on local fauna. Unlike white light, which can be interpreted by animals as sunlight, the lighting adopted by CASACOR seeks to preserve the natural cycles of the wildlife present in the park.
