With its rich diversity of natural landscapes and its strong appreciation for nature, the city of Florianópolis was the perfect inspiration for the Rumah Deca project , designed by Sumar Arquitetura for CASACOR Santa Catarina 2024. The 150m² space, with a bedroom and bathroom, is part of the 8th edition of the exhibition, open to visitors until November 24 at the D/Season Residence Club. 
The confluence of harmony, balance and refuge gave rise to the Rumah concept , which also references Sumar through its sound and personality. By harmonizing organic elements with the sophistication of contemporary design in a proposal fully integrated with the beauty of the local nature, the space is an invitation to a sensorial experience that transcends the conventional. According to its creators, the project is a fusion of functionality, aesthetics and sustainability , designed to inspire and transform. “In an increasingly technological world, the search for a refuge in nature has become essential, especially for us in Florianópolis, who have a relationship of almost interdependence with the environment in the search for quality of life. I see architecture in a sensorial way, capable of causing different types of emotions and sensations. Rumah Deca is more than a pleasant space, it is a celebration of connection with the natural world ”, says Leandro Sumar. The integration between the external and internal environments provides a sense of harmony and balance. By using water mirrors and organic materials such as stones and plants, the project brings nature into the home and creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The proposal is complemented by the choice of coverings by Portinari , such as Empório GN MLX , present on the walls and countertops, and the Gales Organic SBE NAT Kit , used on the floor, which, due to its organic shape, allows for a diverse layout.
