After five years,
CASACOR Mato Grosso 2023 is back, reinserting Cuiabá into the circuit of major events in the sector. It is the largest architecture, design and landscaping exhibition in Latin America and, in Cuiabá, it has 33 environments specially designed by renowned architects, designers and other professionals to showcase the latest trends in the market.
Check out the environments below! At least 1,000 people were directly involved in setting up the spaces and the visit, which began with a press brunch and a
preview on October 22, attracted a large number of visitors. Organizers expect to receive 20,000 visitors. In addition to the 33 spaces, visitors can also enjoy a variety of options for a pleasant evening, such as the Bistrô na Casa, which offers cuisine specially designed for the exhibition, the Verso Gastro Bar, with a variety of drinks, the Boutique Café for a good chat, and the Adega Morar, inspired by old grocery stores. The theme chosen for this edition is
Corpo & Morada , suggesting the need for human beings to connect with their homes and the planet.

CASACOR Mato Grosso 2023 is not just a design, art and architecture event; it is a space that promotes inclusion and social action. In this edition, it is collaborating with the
Siminina project , from the Municipal Government of Cuiabá, which serves girls in vulnerable situations. The partnership has already provided for the delivery of warm clothes and, when CASACOR is dismantled, the architects will be able to donate materials for the renovation of the Siminina unit in the Sucuri District. Another space within CASACOR houses the “
Lírios ” project, an NGO that provides psychosocial care to women and children who are victims of domestic violence, valuing a happy and easy life. The Cuiabá Cancer Patients Support Association has the mission of helping patients in their cancer treatment journey.
“
Elas Empreendem ” is a project that was created by the City Hall of Várzea Grande and aims to promote female entrepreneurship for women in the neighborhoods, free of charge. This project takes place inside the Casa de Sarita in Várzea Grande. They receive training through workshops and courses to make a wide variety of pieces: table necklaces, crochet, placemats, bags, among other items. The “
Tecearte ” hammock makers are part of an association of women from Limpo Grande (a community close to Várzea Grande), who produce handcrafted pieces made thread by thread, such as the famous colorful hammocks of toucans and macaws, using a loom technique that has been passed down from generation to generation. CASACOR also promotes the “
And They ” project, a social action that aims to draw attention to the inclusion and professionalization of people with Down syndrome.

The concept of
sustainability is present in environments that refer to the Pantanal of Mato Grosso and Chapada dos Guimarães, in addition to the “Verde Novo” project, by the State Court of Justice, which distributes seedlings of native species.
