Erick Camilo - Breton Loft. CASACOR Brasília 2024 Project.(Edgard César/)
/43 - Daiany Gimenes - Origin - Hands on Earth. The project pays homage to nature and the wisdom of our ancestors. Using natural elements, the 250 m² space aims to welcome visitors as they begin their experience at CASACOR. Vegetation, clay pots and organic paintings made by the architect herself make up the space, creating a welcoming, sustainable place that is connected to the cultural and historical richness of the first civilizations. It is a rescue of traditional techniques adapted to the contemporary context. (Edgard César)
/43 - Adriana Melo and Luciana Câmara - Borsoi Terrace. The environment pays homage to interior designer Ângela Borsoi. Respecting the essence of the professional, the 500 m² terrace combines the rusticity of concrete and steel with more welcoming elements, such as wood, textiles and intimate lighting. The space has an audacious layout with two lounges, a contemplation deck and a garden. Highlights include the use of ecological wood and the ceiling decorated with a mosaic made up of mirror slats of different sizes from leftover factory cuts. (Gabriel Lima)
/43 - Ney Lima and Walléria Teixeira - Adega. The architect duo presents the space of a wine cellar in 130 m². The objective is to convey the experience of enjoying good wine into the environment. Inspiration comes from everyday life and travel. In line with the theme of the 2024 exhibition, current references join elements that refer to affective memories. Works of art, appliances, lighting and new patterns in the carpentry mark the project. (Edgard César)
/43 - Studio ARCH+, by Renata Vieira, Laísa Figueiredo and Juliana Velloso - Casa Conectada Claro. Being a concise and functional environment is the purpose of this space. It covers 130 m², combining automation technology, through the inclusion of cutting-edge equipment and solutions, with the ancestry present in the raw materials used in the space, such as wood, leather, linen, metals and concrete. The use of gray on the walls and ceiling brings warmth, affection and comfort to the environment. (Edgard César)
/43 - Quadratti Arquitetura - Loft Habitare by German. The duo Andrea Nomura and Tanara Machado sought inspiration from personal experiences and travel to develop the 130 m² project. The architects present an integrated and fluid environment, in which they explore the natural textures of fabrics, wood, rustic stones and fibers and combine them with cement floors, metal shelves and glass. Highlight is the furniture with Italian design covered with leather and fabric that brings sophistication to the space. Works by Paula Caderón make up the decoration. (Edgard César)
/43 - Miguel Gustavo - Ancestral Loft. The concept used by the professional to develop the loft project is the ancestry of peoples. In a 130 m² space, light and sober tones combine with sensory perceptions created by the presence of natural elements with distinct textures, such as wood and stone. Pieces produced by the Maria do Barro Institute, a crafts project from Planaltina (DF), are part of the space's composition. In addition, personal objects from the architect's own travels are part of the space. (Edgard César)
/43 - Mariana Leal - Morada 11.11. Architect Mariana Leal, from Morada 31.12, presents Morada 11.11, a tribute to the renowned artist from Sergipe who lives in Bahia, Jenner Augusto, her great-uncle, who would have turned 100 on November 11, 2024. In a 130 m² “gallery house”, the architecture of the past coexists with new trends in an open, integrated space, with identity and rescuing the memory of Mariana and her family. Highlights include the use of simple natural materials, such as adobe tiles on walls and floors mixed with travertine marble, and a wall with rare works by the painter. Furniture and tiles designed by the professional will also be on display. (Edgard César)
/43 - Mariana Lombardi - Brasal Incorporações. Designed to reinforce the brand's positioning in the high-end market, the project developed has 150 m² divided into two areas: a lounge and a decorated unit with a living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and balcony, where comfort and convenience are the watchwords. High-quality finishes, furniture with contemporary design and light colors lend sophistication and elegance to the space that aims to be timeless. The connection between the two spaces is striking, with strategic openings that close but, at the same time, interconnect the spaces. (Edgard César)
/43 - Márcio Corrêa - Meu Ryokan. As the name suggests, the project is based on a ryokan – a traditional Japanese hotel – with a modern reinterpretation. The 77 m² space invites you to experience sensations in a contemplative way and to have a strong connection with nature. To this end, it uses soft colors and graphic elements and natural materials. Highlights include the bamboo installation at the entrance, which features dramatic lighting, the stone-shaped furniture and the floor and ceiling covered in certified wood. (Edgard César)
/43 - Erick Camilo - Breton Loft. The concept of this 83 m² loft integrates trends, materials, solutions and recent launches from major international fairs, such as the Salone del Móvel in Milan and Expo Revestir. The space uses noble materials and a cool color palette to emphasize elegance and sophistication. The combination of refined finishes with subtle tones enhances the contemporary style and offers a broad visual experience. (Edgard César)
/43 - Elisa Fraga and Guilherme Bussamra - Universo Anacrônico. The idea behind the space developed by Guel Arquitetos is to transcend time and value the unexpected. Under the influence of postmodernism and eclectic style, the 60 m² suite mixes styles and cultures with a fluid and integrated layout. Among the highlights of the project are the way the coverings are applied: ceramic tiles cover the walls and floor, wallpaper is applied to the ceiling, there are glass brick blocks and the furniture is used as a barrier between one room and another. (Edgard César)
/43 - Studio Vírgula + Studio Vanguarda - SV² Lounge. A striking and welcoming entrance. This is the proposal of the project by Carolina Almo and Maria Paula Leite, from Studio Vírgula, and Matheus Silva and Lucas Oliveira, from Studio Vanguarda, for the show's lounge and ticket office. The 49 m² space is inspired by the fusion of ancestry and modernity, with architectural elements that hark back to ancient times, such as arches and cobogós adapted to a contemporary aesthetic. Organic shapes and bold colors lend sophistication to the space that pays homage to classical architecture and its timeless influences. (Edgard César)
/43 - Marcella Schiavoni and Felipe Zorzeto - Master Suite. Brazilian modernism and contemporary lifestyle are the architects' inspirations. The 90 m² space features natural and traditional materials that create a timeless, free-from-excess architecture. Special mention goes to the furniture designed by renowned Brazilian designers and the dolomitic stone that covers the bathroom floors and walls. There is also furniture designed by Felipe Zorzeto: bed, bedside tables, dressing table and bench. (Edgard César)
/43 - Anastácia Hersen and Matheus Mendes - Loft Food for the body, mind and soul. The Hersen Mendes Arquitetura project reflects the duality of socialization and introspection. In a space of 108 m², the kitchen is the body's food environment; the living room is the area that favors social interaction; and the library, the place of enrichment of the soul. Sustainable materials, such as ecological bricks and stones from low-impact artificial sources, reinforce responsible construction practices. The decoration is exclusively made up of national design pieces, mixing contemporary and vintage elements. (Edgard César)
/43 - Glauter Suassuna - Isadora's Look by Espectro Oftalmologia. The 106 m² apartment was proposed to Isadora, a 19-year-old who lost her sight at the age of 8 and is now studying Law with the aim of becoming a federal judge. Designed based on the considerations of the honoree, the space instigates society about the urgency of accessibility and inclusion of people with visual impairments. Automation is the great resource to make the place more accessible. Works of art with reliefs and natural elements such as rocks and plants also allow for a multisensory experience. (Edgard César)
/43 - Renata Ciccarini - Com Viver. The space developed is a 72 m² gourmet space by Coca-Cola and Estrella Galicia dedicated to socializing. The red and black of the brands stand out in the project, which has the main objective of leaving a legacy for the future. For this reason, it focuses on the use of vinyl, a sustainable and reusable material, which appears on the ceiling, floor and wall. Native Brazilian plants make the environment pleasant. The exquisite furniture brings elegance and sophistication amidst the works of art of Cerrado Galeria. (Edgard César)
/43 - Lisi Sandri - Gym. The interior designer created a 50 m² project for a multifaceted residential gym that combines elements of functionality, aesthetics and technology, meeting the needs of well-being and interacting harmoniously with the home environment. The art of graffiti artist Daniel Toys and the modern design integrate the area and create a visually pleasing and welcoming space through the sensory stimuli also available in the customized equipment. Also noteworthy is the good lighting and adequate ventilation. (Edgard César)
/43 - Joyce França Arquitetura and Marka Arquitetura - Café de la Boulangerie. Professionals Joyce França and Marcelo Motta, who lead the offices Joyce França Arquitetura and Marka Studio, respectively, are responsible for the 150 m² project. The space aims to be a refuge for visitors to the exhibition to disconnect. Inspired by the wabi-sabi style, which is essentially about accepting transience, the functional space features a light design, minimalist decor, natural stones, concrete bases and subtle, scenic lighting. Highlights include the elegant central planter and the natural flow of the pampas grass. (Edgard César)
/43 - Sainz Arquitetura - Reflected Nature. The project by Eduardo Sainz and Lilian Glayna Sainz proposes an installation of art and landscaping elements covering 470 m². Large trays of vegetation, supported by structural ties on giant columns, create a fusion between nature and architecture. Made of metal, they have vegetation on the upper side and are covered with mirrors on the back, which reflect and distort the image of the observer. The installation seeks to be minimalist, but with great visual impact. It includes a stage surrounded by tropical vegetation, enhancing the interaction between the natural and architectural environments. (Edgard César)
/43 - Três Arquitetura - Arco Pavilion. The project by architects Luciano Pena and Vinícius Alano integrates several spaces in 170 m², in a building constructed based on dialogue with the stadium's architecture. Huge skylights allow the concrete slab to be seen and bathe the space in natural light. An internal garden offers visual contact with vegetation from any point of view, and a bookcase made of wood and large slabs of green granite adds layers of natural textures to the space. (Edgard César)
/43 - Larissa Dias Architecture - Sacred Time. The conception of the 205 m² project was inspired by the harmony and serenity found in natural elements and the sophistication of contemporary design. The environment proposes a winding path with wooden porticoes, creating an organic format that guides the visitor in an engaging way. Shades of beige and black give tranquility to the space, while designer furniture, such as those designed by Jader Almeida, brings elegance. The proposal presents market innovations, such as synthetic slats for facades, automation of frames and prefabricated fiber water mirror. (Edgard César)
/43 - Ricardo Secunho and Yasodhara Chaibub - Varanda Oásis. An oasis amidst the concrete and in the heart of Brasília's urban center. This is the proposal of Rysc Arquitetura's gourmet space. In a 120.80 m² space, the duo presents a fully equipped kitchen in a cozy living room with a large air-conditioned wine cellar and lush landscaping integrated into the balcony. The ideal place to take a break and socialize. Wood, natural stone, fabrics and nautical ropes mark the project that features works by Brasília-based photographer Plinio Ricardo. (Plínio Ricardo)
/43 - Chris Arantes and Leandro Naya - Studio Steel. The duo chose to create a 60 m² space entirely in steel frame, a system formed by modular galvanized steel structures. The space seeks to meet modern demands for sustainability, efficiency and flexibility in a sophisticated studio. The project embodies high standards and comfort by combining rustic elements with high-quality finishes, technology and contemporary and minimalist design. Pieces signed by artists Maite Barbosa and Daniel Jacaré compose the space. (Edgard César)
/43 - Studio Gontijo Arquitetura e Interiores - Loft Tom & Elis. Gabriela Gontijo, Mariana Hummel and Jade Ávila present the 120 m² space that pays homage to the partnership between maestro Antônio Carlos Jobim and singer Elis Regina - the collaboration resulted in the classic album Elis & Tom, which turns 50 years old. At the same time, the project celebrates the architects' children, baptized with the same names as the duo. Highlighting the dark colors and pigmentations and the use of vinyl on the ceiling, a material with environmental registration and seal. The landscaping is jointly designed by designers Gabriel Domingues de Sousa and Bárbara Oliveira Queiroz. (Edgard César)
/43 - Marina Chaves and Victor Grimaldi - A handmade space. The Cerrado inspires the 80 m² space designed to exhibit and sell works by artists and designers from Brasília. The use of earthy tones, present in the twisted trunks, soil and fruits of this biome, brings comfort and elegance to the space. One of the highlights of the project is sustainability, which is reflected in the use of technologies that minimize waste generation, in addition to the reuse of materials to make the furniture. The products are displayed on large shelves and monochromatic modules, bringing dynamism and sophistication to the space. (Edgard César)
/43 - Alessandra Moussa and Marcelo Netto - Refúgio do Cedro. The duo's project was developed in a 44 m² space filled with memories. The great inspiration for the space is Alessandra's father, who died in 2003, a Lebanese man who arrived in Brazil at the age of 19 fleeing the war in Lebanon. The space features a painting by the honoree, as well as a huge stone wall with a prominent niche containing the honoree's personal objects. The space also features recently launched furniture by names such as Samuca Gerber and Fabrício Ronca. (Edgard César)
/43 - Tudo Arquitetura e Construção - Plastic Surgeon's Office. The 70 m² space is a plastic surgery office in homage to Dr. Victor Hugo Cordeiro. The project presents a concept that provides an experience full of sensations and uses elements with sinuous lines in analogy to the contours of the human body and the curves of time. The choice of colors and lighting that simulates natural light create a harmonious and welcoming space, reflecting personal transformation and reducing the stress of a medical appointment or procedure. (Edgard César)
/43 - Gabriela Schinzel and Agustin Roca - Oja Bar. The 56 m² space is a concept bar that integrates elements of architecture, design and art with cocktails, music and gastronomy. Everything interacts organically: the dim lighting, the neutral color palette, the natural materials – stone and wood – and the white curtains that configure an oval space, where the central island invites visitors to get closer to chef Thiago Paraiso, from mixologist and DJ. Located at the end of the exhibition's extensive route, the place is a kind of sensory refuge. (Edgard César)
/43 - Lucas Machado - Refúgio Rio Quente Resorts. The 117 m² space focuses on the importance of taking our history with us. In the project, affective memories are rescued through objects, furniture and materials. Natural ceramic flooring, rustic painting, eucalyptus fences and vegetation gain space, bringing lightness and comfort to the visitor. With a biophilic design and reclaimed eucalyptus wood, the place is reminiscent of the forests and gardens of the Rio Quente Resort. (Edgard César)
/43 - Eliene Lucindo - Espaço Encontro. More than just a hallway, the project brings together visual, olfactory, sensory and auditory elements and is inspired by the idea of a community “Present with presence” to host the CASACOR Brasília podcast in honor of the Estilozzo Portal. In a 32 m² space, aesthetics, functionality, ergonomics and sustainability are balanced. Highlights include the slatted panel with metallic texture, the new technologies and the colors of the fabric of the island sofa with a special foam structure and the acoustic lining. (Edgard César)
/43 - Ângela Cambraia and Elba Cambraia - Respiro. The project by CasaCam Arquitetura is based on the relationship between material space and the passage of time. This relationship is highlighted by the stone, sand and glass present in the 38 m² space, inspired by the symbol of timekeeping: the hourglass. The result is a project with organic shapes, minimalist layout and rough textures of natural materials. The space is also marked by the tiles designed especially for the location by the collective of designers and architects MUDA. (Edgard César)
/43 - Angela Feitoza and Maria Carolina Feitoza - Jewelry Store. The duo was responsible for the design of the 40 m² space inspired by the geometric shapes and solidity of cut precious stones. Symmetrical, curved and well-lit niches highlight the jewelry on the side walls of the space. The main concept of the space is inspired by the concept of minimalism, which made the space sophisticated, attractive and full of personality. (Edgard César)
/43 - ON Arquitetura - CUCAN Restaurant. The 200 m² project pays homage to Brasília and its design through the CUCAN restaurant, run by chef Simon Lau. The space takes advantage of the stadium's original exposed concrete structure and also incorporates other symbolic elements of Brasília, such as cobogós, tiles and pilotis. The kitchen is completely open and incorporated into the space, so that the visitor can see and sit in front of the chef, bringing movement and liveliness to the gastronomic spectacle. In addition, all the furniture is designed by Brasília designers, highlighting the space's partnership with Brasília Design Week. (Edgard César)
/43 - BYD House - Maria Araujo Architecture and Design. The project pays tribute to architect Lina Bo Bardi. In an area of 140 m², fluid spaces are gathered that celebrate simplicity and authenticity under the concept of quiet luxury. Striking facade with defined lines, natural materials such as wood, steel and stone integrated into the vegetation and cotton curtains stand out in the environment. From a design point of view, highlights include the armchairs designed by Lina herself, mirrors by Tomas Graeff and the trio of coffee tables designed by the office. (Edgard César)
/43 - Jota Pacini - Olhar Tribal. The Jota Pacini Design & Arquitetura office was responsible for the design of the 37 m² space of the Gustavo Eyewear brand's optical shop. The space combines tradition with modernity, by incorporating handcrafted works from different indigenous peoples of the Xingu Indigenous Park – such as ornaments, sculptures and lamps –, amidst the exquisite and exclusive design of the eyeglass frames. A print by the artist Maite Barbosa was made exclusively for the space, which also features a concrete shelf with backlighting and solid wood furniture. (Edgard César)
/43 - STUDIOPIPPA - TRK Imóveis na Esfera Office. Designed by architect Priscila Gabriel, the 80 m² space is an office that breaks with corporate principles by focusing on proximity between users of the space and space optimization. The proposal is timeless and contemporary, which is why it uses wood, concrete, fabrics and vintage furniture. The works of art by Adriana Vignoli compose and bring the space to life. (Edgard César)
/43 - Jonanthan Bispo, Mateus Suzart and Otávio de Souza - Espaço Y Office. In a 90 m² space, the professionals created a dynamic office that is different from traditional ones to meet the new ways of working. The comfort of the home and the dynamism of hybrid work guide the proposal. As it is more inviting, the space makes use of natural textures and materials in a more biophilic design, which contributes to the well-being of the employee. Acoustic materials made from recycled PET derivatives were incorporated to reduce noise and increase productivity. (Edgard César)
/43 - Arielle Martins - Square with the mural Dream of a Summer. Dream of a Summer is the mural that decorates one of the squares at CASACOR Brasília 2024, signed by illustrator Arielle Martins. The main idea of the work, developed in 275 m², is to refer to an internal courtyard, where tradition meets ancestry. The project was conceived by harmonizing colors to compose the walls, creating an environment that can be multifunctional. Species native to the cerrado – such as babassu, jatobá and buriti – are represented in the illustration and bring a reference to Brasília. (Edgard César)
/43 - Débora Bardales and Juliana Castro - Gallery. Together for the first time in the show, the duo presents the gallery project in a 177 m² space. Timeless and minimalist, the space simulates the sensation of looking out over a river. Suspended blocks and pieces of stone and gravel stand out in the project, establishing a balance with the concrete of the stadium. All of these elements seek to offer a connection between the visitor and nature. Complementing the project are furniture designed by Sérgio Rodrigues and Zanine Caldas, as well as art from the galleries Referência Galeria, Expoarte and Cerrado Galeria. (Edgard César)
/43 - Daiana Pontes - Art workshop - FIER. With an artistic bias, the 48 m² space uses brutalism as a source of inspiration for the design of the space and, at the same time, rescues the concept of rationality of the Paulista School of Vilanova Artigas in the composition of the forms. The exposed concrete and ironwork show that the structures of the buildings serve as art in the composition of the interior decoration. Iron, exposed concrete and glass are striking elements of the space, where courses and workshops will be taught. (Edgard César)
/43 - Olzi Arquitetura - Le Jardin by Bella Salvati. The inspiration for the design of the project by the duo Ana Luísa Zinato and Juliana Oliveira was to create a gallery that, while featuring works of art as its main focus, also highlighted the essence of a garden. In a 40 m² space, simplicity stands out amidst the exclusive works by Bella Salvati, who, in this collection, pays homage to the complexity and beauty of botany, with the predominant color green, lighter tones and elegant materials, such as the muxarabi entrance. The project features antique pieces of historical value by renowned Brazilian designers. (Edgard César)
/43 - Isadora Burjack and Júlia Fonseca - Lavabo Pausa. The duo was responsible for the design of the public restrooms, each measuring 37 m². The space encourages disconnection from the outside world, with very striking elements that highlight the internal world designed there. This is the case of the materials that refer to natural stones, the cozy texture of the wood in some details, the soft and welcoming lighting and the invitation to enter the space through the curves that permeate it. For the women's restroom, paintings that explore femininity. In the men's restroom, the presence and strength of each of the chosen elements are reinforced. (Edgard César)
/43 - Orestes Blanco and Rosa Maranini - Casa BRB. The space was inspired by the BRB bank. The 120 m² space was divided into three interconnected areas, mixing contemporary and classic styles. The mirrored hall with blue carpeting brings warmth. The library tells the story of the federal capital through books and works of art by Rosana Mokdissi from Brasília. The last space is the living room designed as a summer house with neutral tones and curved furniture. The highlight of the project is the use of wallpaper that reproduces the ancient shibori technique. (Edgard César)
