Hélio Albuquerque - Particu-LAR and Infinite. CASACOR Brasilia 2022 Project.(Edgard Cesar/)
/52 - Leo Romano - Coral Club. The entrance to CASACOR Brasília this year is marked by the vibrant colors of the project designed by Leo Romano. With 110 m², the space is formed by a tunnel of special colors, in which the different materials are mimicked by pigmentation. As a result, walls, floors and ceilings embrace visitors. The idea behind the Coral Club is to bring an atmosphere of joy and, at the same time, make a reference to party and fun environments. The furniture and wall domes were specially developed for the space. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Dalilla Menegotto - Espaço LLar. Measuring 92 m², the space consists of a large living room integrated with a dining room and a wine cellar and was designed to welcome and bring people together. Valuing the organic nature of the materials, the furniture was carefully arranged to allow for ample and fluid circulation, characteristics that the architect always values in her projects. The works of art were chosen to tell stories in the space. The sculpture positioned inside the wine cellar stands out, created especially for the space and inspired by Praça dos Cristais. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Studio Marka - The Relicary. The 69.60 m² project designed by Karine Gonçalves and Marcelo Motta was conceived for the current moment, in the need for introspection, in the rare coexistence. The idea is to present the house as a box of relics. Natural wood from garapeira reforestation, natural noble stone and woven cotton fabrics bring a feeling of welcome. Among the furniture, the highlights are the Gorila armchair, by designer Philipe Fonseca, inspired by the combination of African values and Brazilian culture; and the Corda Chair, handcrafted with solid wood. The project also features a painting by artist Eloísa Lobo. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Ney Lima + Walléria Teixeira - Casa da Colina. The 115 m² space pays homage to Carlos Alberto Oliveira, a pioneer of Brazilian furniture design in the capital. Four concrete columns from the stadium were included in the project as elements of balance and integration between the living, dining and bar areas. The furniture includes the Hill chair, the Met sofa by Jader Almeida and the N armchair by Zanine Caldas. The artwork includes works by artists such as Eduardo Sued, Isaura Pena and Liliane Dardot. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Atelier Versiani - Player's Refuge. In a World Cup year and with the stadium as the venue for CASACOR, partners Telma Versiani and Rafael Versiani created the space inspired by former Brazilian national team defender and Brasília resident Lúcio. Inspired by the wabi-sabi philosophy, the 56 m² space features a diagonal wall in an organic shape that divides the bedroom from the bathroom. The project that integrates the space with the garden features pieces from Lúcio's own collection, such as the shirt used in Brazil's fifth World Cup title, a replica of the 2002 World Cup trophy, trophies and football boots. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Eduardo Brito - Bathroom. Inspired by Turkish and Moroccan baths and Finnish pre-modernist architecture, the architect created a 56 m² communal bathroom. His reference was the pool at the Lutetia Hotel in Saint Germain, Paris. The idea was to create an environment where the public could share intimate moments, a subversion of the idea of bathing as a private activity. With a contrast between light and dark, the space features automation to create lighting and sound ambiance, the Loop Chair designed by Willy Guhl and objects related to bathing, the water element and everything that refers to body cleansing. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - CK Arquitetura + OLZI Arquitetura - Studio Cerchio. After participating in the 2022 Salone del Mobile Milano, the offices brought the latest trends to the design of the 72.62 m² space. Curved lines, a cool look and a clean aesthetic set the tone for the space, which features rustic textures, a tile panel designed by designer Wilson Romão for the space, PVC pipes and a vertical garden of natural plants. Romão also designed the Baru Chair, exhibited at “Poesia do Cotidiano”, Brazil’s main exhibition during Milan Design Week, and which has an exclusive version for the show, curated by Bruno Simões. Works by visual artists Gabriel Petribu and Eduardo Garcia complete the space. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Studio Arch+ - Ethereal House. Thinking about the essence of BEING, revealing the various “faces” of our particular infinity, the fluidity and duality of existence, together with the intrinsic, light and poetic characteristics of the space - artistic panels by Athos Bulcão, natural lighting, a monumental view of a place that is the stage for so many moments of celebration, concrete pillars and beams - the trio formed by architect and urban planner Renata Vieira and interior designers Laísa Figueiredo and Juliana Velloso designed this 78 m² space. The space follows the trend of integrated, illuminated and ventilated environments, featuring light tones alongside wood, straight and curved lines occupying the same area, natural materials and vegetation. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Alê Neves and Gero Tavares - Pausapragma. Based on pragma, which is one of the eight types of love recognized by the Greeks, the professionals created the 110 m² space that is part of the exhibition. The duo's proposal was based on biophilic architecture, with integration of living spaces in a more relaxed, democratic and less rigid way. They are also launching three exclusive pieces of furniture in the exhibition. The artistic tone is provided by the sculptures by Amílcar de Castro, the installation by Christus Nóbrega created especially for the space and the video art work “Miragem”, by Lino Valente from Brasilia. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Jorge Carneiro - Casa Blanca 30+. In his debut at the show, the interior designer created a space for people over 30. Measuring 105 m², the space was designed with a post-pandemic perspective and the rediscovery of the joy of entertaining at home in mind. Curved lines, integrated space, gold wallpaper that creates unique textures, spot lighting, rugs and porcelain flooring. Recyclable and disposable materials are given a sophisticated air. Highlights include the marble coffee table with gold leaf and the artwork by Fernanda Namam. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Report by Architects - Mozzafiato Suite. Ana Karolina Magalhães and Pedro Henrique Ferreira present in the project they designed the Italian-Brazilian concept and design of their master partner at the show, especially the comfort and refinement also prioritized by the brand. The furniture is from the latest collection, presented at the Milan Fair, and highlights the organic shapes that enhance the design of the space. With 60 m², the space has marble coverings, rescuing classic values of the Italian brand. The works of art are more expressive and have a “hi low” feel, bringing diverse sensations and making the space Instagrammable. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Orestes Blanco and Rosa Maranini - Galeria Garagem. The inspiration for the duo's project is the modern Brazilian couple who arrive at their home with their electric car and find a space that tells their story, with works of art and space to receive friends and family. With 160 m², the space has walls covered in sober woodwork and furniture with contemporary design contrast with classic and contemporary works of art. The space will be hosting the launch of Peugeot's electric car. Automation items such as bold lighting and a sound system integrated with state-of-the-art appliances make up the functional part of the space. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Elisa Fraga, Guilherme Bussamra and Marcelo Marcolino - Abito Blu - BRB Seguros. The project abbreviates the house as a home and dictates the way to “dress” the house. Inspired by Milan Design Week 2022, the palette of dark blues mixed with more saturated tones guided the choice of other items, such as lacquers and shiny wood veneers, metallic tubular profiles, velvets, organic shapes and rounded corners. This was combined with the exuberance of marble. The 55 m² space brings the cosmopolitan Italian way of life and the simplicity of global design. To complete the space, works by Burle Marx, Marcelus Freschet and Sônia Ebling. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Ana Paula Onzi - Hotel Suite/Suite 11. Experiences in hotels around the world were the inspiration for the ONZI.ARQ office to create the space that debuted at the show. With 45 m², the architect invested in textures to bring sophistication, ranging from the walls and ceiling, to the fabric of the bed and also to the bathroom counter, specially designed for CASACOR Brasília. The lighting fixtures designed by Waldir Junior stand out, such as the suspended pendant, mirror and designer armchair. Also part of the project is a painting by M. Cavalcanti. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Victor Veiga Arquitetos - Urban Lavatory. Taking advantage of the architecture of the BRB Mané Garrincha Arena and based on Brazilian modernism, the space was designed by architects Victor Veiga and Anna Raquel Rodrigues, in their debuts at the show, to maintain the characteristic of public lavatories of being simple and practical, but also flirting with international design and architecture trends. With 70 m², the space gains personality with furniture designed by Willy Guhl, Sérgio Rodrigues and Joaquim Tenreiro, and a gallery of photographs of the city taken by Brasilia photographer Maurício Araújo. Highlights include the open ceiling with a view of the structure of the stands. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Studio Traços - Lounge Resort. For the 52 m² environment created for Aviva Vacation Club, professionals Ana Carolina Lima and Ana Carolina Falconi were inspired by resorts in the Northeast and Goiás. With sinuous lines, handcrafted elements and biophilic design, the architects valued accessibility, with ramps that lead to an elevator made of wood internally and externally and that gives access to the bar on the top floor. Technology appears in the furniture creation process, such as the parametric bench and the mapped projection, and there is also the use of straw, natural stone, wood, vegetation, handcrafted pieces and decoration with Bonfim ribbons, all to bring the atmosphere of Bahia and of Goiás to the environment. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Jéssica Campos - Domus Vita. The project presents in 45 m² the processes, losses and successes that are the protagonists of our lives, in order to represent them as the home of our journeys, as well as to demonstrate our journeys as the home of our lives. The space is made up of personal objects from family members who were once enthusiasts of the architect's work and who now guide her from another place. The arrangement of light and shadow represents the entrances and exits, the duality between clarity and doubts that permeates us daily. The circular patterns drawn prove to our eyes that beauty is not found in planned linear paths, but in uncertainties and in the processes of changing direction. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - CADA Arquitetura - Gallery. The office debuts at the show with a space dedicated to award-winning photographer Celso Junior. The artist's works, in different formats and sizes and with predominantly photos of Brasília, are spread across the 23 m². With pastel-colored paintings, lighting directed at the works and a glass facade, the space has two armchairs, a sideboard and a wooden bench. The idea of architects Amanda Rodrigues and Bianca Falcão is that the themed works awaken in visitors their fondest memories of the capital. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Silvana and Luisa Albuquerque - Espaço Ser. The contemporary style, with light colors and neutral tones, is the basis of the project. The colors are present in objects, works of art and furniture, which give a touch of personality and exclusivity. The 45 m² space follows the concept of integrated spaces, an invitation to meet family and friends. The living and dining areas intertwine and complement each other, and the table not only serves as a support function when serving a meal, but can also serve as a sideboard or work space. As a practical and functional proposal, the project is completed by a reading corner, a bar and a compact kitchen. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Studio Varanda - Designer's Studio. Felipe Zorzeto and Marcella Schiavoni make their debut at the show with a space for experimentation, contemplation and creation. The 45 m² space portrays an environment that the architect duo would have in their own home. The goal is to provide visitors with a glimpse into the world of creation. The furniture includes pieces by iconic designers Jader Almeida, Sérgio Rodrigues and Guilherme Wentz, which are mixed with Felipe Zorzeto's own creations. The highlight is the slate floor with different sizes and layouts than usual, highlighting the beauty of traditional materials. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Thales Zago - Studio Zago. In his third participation in CASACOR Brasília, the professional was inspired by his current situation – with offices in two cities – to design the 44 m² space. Despite the small size, the project had to be functional and cozy at the same time. The studio has an open and integrated floor plan, natural colors and textures, and organic furniture. Brushed silver granite and ironwood MDF stand out among the chosen materials. Books and works of art are from the architect's personal collection. A Galho vase by Fabiana Queiroga and acrylic canvases by Ana Serafim complete the space. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Juliana Leão - Balcony. Creating a space to welcome, play and interact, combining technology with the comfort of a balcony is the goal of this 53 m² project. A jabuticaba tree at the focal point of the circulation area brings life to the space. Designer furniture completes the space, with a stylish ping-pong table, a sofa with several possibilities of modules and layout, and high-tech LED panels for guest interaction. The Cambito chess table created by designers André Gurgel and Felipe Bezerra, named after a play on words with the play "gambit", is a real eye-catcher. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Glaucia Almeida - Bookstore. Aiming to escape the aesthetics of common bookstores, the interior designer used biophilia to compose the space, in a union with the industrial style - which appears in the metalwork of the ceiling, on the shelves and on the door. Nature is present in the plants and colors of the walls, which were covered with vinyl flooring. Pieces of Italian ceramics from the bookstore's collection add charm to the environment, as well as photographs by Boechat. With 68 m², the project was designed to be functional and, at the same time, welcoming, with nature present to give a feeling of calm and respite for the mind. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Denise Zuba Arquitetos Associados - Right here, right there... Espaço Finitura. Mané's columns were the starting point for the design of the project, which needed to be clean, light and at the same time striking to compose the concrete forest formed by the set of giant 15 m tall pillars. With 400 m², the environment follows the open space concept, that is, a free plan, with spaces integrated between them and the external area. The house is made entirely of metal that can be relocated, and stands out for its use of ecological wood. Glass, metal, natural stones, plants and curved furniture portray the concept of the search for originality and roots. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Depieri Landscaping - CASACOR Square. Cleber Depieri and Gabriel Domingues sought to promote a dialogue between the stadium's outer ring and the surrounding vegetation, through a composition of shrubs, trees and palm trees, allowing the green to be seen in different layers. There is also a correlation between the height of the palm trees and the monumentality of the Arena. With 850 m², the project seeks to enhance the flows, create spaces for socializing and contemplation, and provide a feeling of immersion in nature through the volumes of tropical vegetation. In the project, the duo used ecological wood for the benches, porcelain flooring, granite and concrete. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Choque Arquitetura e Design - Farm House by SR Só Reparos. Comfort, technology and hospitality set the tone for the project by the trio formed by Simone Turíbio, Marília Turíbio and Dimitri Lociks. The 328 m² space highlights the importance of taking breaks and appreciating nature, based on biophilic design. The internal and external spaces are integrated. The choice of materials and coverings took into account those that minimize impacts on the environment. The office designed the stone benches and the Íris lamp. The desk and the ironwood bench are the space's national launches. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Zardo Arquitetura - Mi Casa, Su casa. Designed by Júlia and George Zardo, the 200 m² loft is divided into a living room, dining room, kitchen, balcony and suite, with total integration. The project was designed for a family to be able to interact, socialize and receive friends. The use of darker colors creates a cozy atmosphere, with graphite flooring and black frames. The dark ochre tone was chosen to star on the main wall throughout the space. Highlights include the light fixture by Arthur Casas and the works of art created by the architect and artist herself, Júlia Zardo. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Larissa Dias Arquitetura - Janelas do Nosso Mar. In order to interact with the stadium and the city's immense sky, the 133 m² space gained large openings to the outside. The interior was softened by light-toned wood, bringing warmth. The ceiling is made of wood-effect MDF. Frames with solid wood shutters, suspended by sisal ropes, recall the city's first buildings with a contemporary twist and allow the infinite sky of Brasília to enter the space. Lucio Costa said that "the sky is the sea of Brasília", summing up our sky in a few words. Throughout the space, furniture by Sérgio Rodrigues, Jader Almeida, Estudio Bola and Guilherme Wentz is featured. The bronze angel sculptures by Ceschiatti, like those in Brasília Cathedral, and the paintings by Carlos Araújo are eye-catching. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Renata Ciccarini - Coca-Cola Experience. The project's starting point was Coca-Cola Marshmello, created in collaboration with American DJ Marshmello. The space by architect Renata Ciccarini, completely red, from floor to ceiling, presents a nightclub atmosphere with the use of neon and lasers. As it is a constructive module, it gives the visitor the feeling of being in a box and invites them to an experience that aims to activate the five senses: touch, through textures; the sense of smell for the essence contained in space; the vision, with the lights and images emitted by the TV; hearing, provoked by the ambient sound and taste, awakened by the taste of the new sugar-free strawberry-flavored soft drink. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - José do Egito and Erick Camilo - Mel Brushes. Minimalism combined with the sophistication of steel and wood are the main characteristics of this 18 m² modular space. The creative process of the duo José do Egito Alves de Souza and Erick Camilo was based on lines and strokes, following a firm design and betting on the metal structure. To bring lightness to the space, the architecture fits in with the landscaping. The space is dominated by more sober tones with neutral bases, wood and gray. The project was created to provide an environment that brings physical, mental and spiritual well-being. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Flávia Rucelle Arquitetura Fitness - Music Box. The space offers a synesthetic experience of a real music box through the interaction between image, sound, light and smell, transporting each person to their own unique and singular place. With 18 m² in modular construction, lighting and automation are the main distinguishing features of the project. With many mirrors and surrounded by the sound of classical music, the idea is to transport you to a parallel universe full of memories. In her debut, Flávia combines her expertise in the fitness universe with the childhood memories that a music box provides. A sensory experience and an Instagrammable environment. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Caroline Nogueira and Olívia Campos - Pop-up Optics. The 18 m² modular space follows a commercial trend of pop-up stores, which create connections with the public through more compact spaces and bolder architectural solutions. The brand that will occupy the space is Gustavo Eyewear, with hand-painted glasses, almost all of which are exclusive and one-off. With lots of metal, glass and wood, the architects invested in bright colors – with an emphasis on the Brasília sky – and used techniques of visual perception, perspective and stage design, in addition to bringing the concept of Instagrammable spaces. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Lisi Sandri - Café. Based on the concept of neuroarchitecture, Lisi Sandri used biophilic design, through textures, colors, shapes, materials and objects, to design the Café Environment, with 90.56 m². With the refinement of specialty coffees and the challenge of connecting the visitor to the environment, Lisi used porcelain tiles, light-colored wood, green countertops to align with the concept of organic architecture, ceramics and stones in the shape of objects used in the café, which are very present in the project. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Márcio Corrêa - Secret Lobby. With the challenge of being the first and last room that visitors will pass through on the main floor of the exhibition, the architect created a concrete box that represents the world we live in. With 93 m², designed in shades of white and off-white, the lobby has an installation with a white mesh filled with sand at its ends created by the architect and also a painting made by him. On one of the walls, the Forest Panel made of stabilized moss brings the perception of the colors of nature. On the shelves, white objects symbolize personal choices to accompany us along the journey. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Roberto Guedes - Bloom. One of the most Instagrammable spaces in the show, Roberto Guedes designed a wall of balloons and eccentric flowers. LED lighting adds charm to the minimalist space. The architect was inspired by Italian fashion and flower stores, after extensive research into how establishments in these niches present their creations. With 18 m² of modular construction, the space uses the color Tibet blue. Using the same color throughout the space with the aim of encouraging visitors to value just one moment, the space is decorated with exclusive plates, vases and flowers. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Angela Castilho Interior Architecture - Calmari. At the invitation of landscaper Cassio Veiga, the architect used her colleague's expertise in outdoor areas to create the environment called Calmaria, alongside her partner of over 30 years, Alex Rodrigues. The project follows the Japanese wabi-sabi philosophy. In the 230 m² space, ancestral bioconstruction techniques are used, with materials such as eucalyptus biribas, irregular wattle and daub walls, Coral effect texture painting, marble and limestone patchwork flooring. The environment has masonry sofas and cushions, a spa, ottomans and hammocks, and a wood-burning stove with ceramic glass that adds a contemporary touch. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Under the Block - Collor Project. Architect Clay Rodrigues created the project for the public restrooms that will be permanently located at the BRB Arena. With 70 m², the chosen tones were based on the color palette of the French modernist architect Le Corbusier. The colors blue, yellow and red were given a grayish pigmentation to contrast with the Italian acrylic pieces scattered throughout the space. They fit into the multicolored proposal, are fun, and transform into decorative and sculptural pieces, making the visit to the bathroom more playful. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Liê Arquitetas - Nosso Lugar Aqui. Designed by professionals Carol Gomide and Carol Nathair, the 104 m² space was created in partnership with Casapark. The idea was to represent the infinity of a house with stories in this space. With integrated social areas, the use of sober colors, metal structures in a non-industrial context and verrière-type metal frames, the place is welcoming, embracing and has cozy and memorable corners. Completing the space is an installation by visual artist Valéria Pena and works by renowned artists such as Volpi, Bracher, Pitágoras, Raquel Neiva, among others. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Marina Pimentel Landscaping - Private Garden. Amid the arid setting of the stadium, where concrete predominates, the green of nature brings peace and comfort in the garden designed by architect and urban planner Marina Pimentel. The natural stones that make up the winding path clash with the metallic pergola. The reconnection with nature in the 410 m² space was the beginning for the creation of this square, whose contemporary landscaping involves dense vegetation and large species. The touch of nobility came from the selected furniture and stage lighting. An invitation to contemplate the infinity of nature. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Tatiana Guedes - Restaurant Bar. One of the places that promises to bring together visitors, the place operated by Marie Cuisine focuses on long-lasting emotional memories of the porcelain hanging on the walls, with ceramic dishes molded exclusively for the environment. Among the elements used, Brazilian Jatobá MDF panels, walnut furniture, glass and natural stone, straw and leather texture on the chairs and linen on the curtains. At the bar, the illuminated crystal fusion quartzite counter stands out. Green and blue integrate the place in unique moments, with a spectacular view of the sunset in the tree-lined square at the exhibition. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Studio Pippa - Dinner. Eating meals outside the home was the inspiration for architect Priscila Gabriel to create this space. As is the case in the United States, the idea was to create a garden space for cooking and using the barbecue. Measuring 80 m², the project has no carpentry in its composition and consists of suspended countertops and a dining table at a reduced height, entirely designed for outdoor use. Porcelain, stainless steel and metalwork were the main materials used. A proposal that dialogues between the outdoors and private moments. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Juliana Santana - Varanda Metrópoles. An access gate becomes a square to admire the stadium columns. With this view and the 10 m free span, the project sought to create a place of experience, a welcoming environment amidst all the monumentality of the space. The architect invested in a soft stone on one of the walls to complement the existing concrete. The 50 m² space has a specially designed bookcase made of freijó and talagarça wood, which does not block light or natural ventilation. In addition to the furniture full of new releases, works by artists Christus Nóbrega, Verdiana Leite, Paola Muller and Fabiana Barbosa stand out. (Edgar Cesar)
/52 - Angela Feitoza and Yassmin Awwad - Lounge Arena. The challenge was to create a fertile environment for business, breaking the formal corporate barrier through natural elements. Biophilic design is used throughout the 100 m² and balances the Stadium's concrete with natural green quartzite, wooden muxarabis and fabrics with striking textures. The space features furniture by Luan del Sávio, Paulo Satori, Bruno Simões and Eminência em Preto. The works of art that make up the scene are sculptures by artist Ricardo Barsuglia, from the personal collection of Richard Dubois (president of Arena BSB). (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Joyce França, Rafaella Preusse, Raquel Maciel and Rebeca Lora - Espaço Sebrae. Oscar Niemeyer's curved lines were the inspiration for the quartet to create the 90 m² space designed for Sebrae. The shapes inserted in the interior refer to the deconstruction of the symbolism of infinity. The materials used provide an understanding of the basic and elegance, together with the brutality of concrete. The curved and organic lines and new applications of materials stand out: glass block on the facade, texture on the wall, ceiling and niches, mosaic tiles on the curved display cases. In their debut at the show, the architects had the challenge of integrating fashion, arts and crafts and food products. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Studio 2 - Infinito Prima Linea. Designed by Alex Claver and Wilker Medeiros, the space is a 90 m² loft inspired by a young man from the countryside who leaves his hometown and moves to a big city in search of his dreams. Contemporary lines mix with objects and works of art signed by artists from Minas Gerais that connect this young man with his roots, with emphasis on the sculpture "Even if it lasts forever, it ends", by Susana Bastos. The slate mosaic with different finishes designed exclusively for the space is impressive, harmonizing with the dark tones of the project, created in homage to the Prima Linea group. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Matheus Alves and Luciana Canalli - Jeweler's Studio. The office MSA Arquitetura + Interiores e On Arquitetura designed the 35 m² space inspired by the creation process of jewelry production with a special layout in a different way of welcoming the customer to a jewelry store. The use of metalwork and electrostatic painting stand out in the environment, which also features woody MDF panels and exotic natural stone. The idea is to bring a more rustic area of jewelry design, in contrast to the raw, which is the initial state, with the beautiful, which defines the finished piece. The artistic touch comes from a vase by artist Carol Gay and a special canvas by artist Marcelo Sollar. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Studio Gontijo - Mirante BRB. With 70 m², the unusual project by architects Gabriela Gontijo and Mariana Hummel stands out for guaranteeing the contemplation of the stadium's interior. In the environment, BRB will meet with customers in areas reserved for more intimate conversations. The duo used reusable, burnt wood, in black, on the tables and bar counter – where the material stands out when placed on the luminosity of the onyx. Baskets, sisal and raw wood bring the conception of a particular infinity. In the space, there will be the launch of a new armchair created by designer Samuel Lamas and a Bossa Black stone. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - LC Arquitetos - The Hotel Suite. The hotel suite, designed by Luciana Cunha, is composed of natural elements such as wood, stone and plants, and also mixes straight and organic lines. The 45 m² space has openwork and accordion windows, and the wood and mulled wine color continue to act as a backdrop for other materials, such as Greek marble with an acacia seed finish. Another highlight of the theme is the hall, which brings the vanishing point into perspective. An autumn tree completes the project. (Edgar Cesar)
/52 - Maria Araujo Arquitetura e Design - Quarto Infinito. In 80 m², curved walls and magnetic profiles change the lighting of the space without difficulty. Biophilic architecture appears in the elements of nature that bring benefits to health and well-being, such as the linen curtains and two planters rich in vegetation. The project features monochromatic and neutral tones and textures. The presence of the Blues Chair, by the Brazilian Fahrer brothers, who have already had pieces exhibited at MoMa (NYC) and Pavillon Le Corbusier (Zurich), is one of the great highlights, as there are very few units in the world. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Ana Paula Ribeiro Arquitetura + Interiores - Children's Room. The growth of a child was the inspiration for the duo to create this 35 m² space designed by Ana Paula Ribeiro and Carol Souto. With organic shapes, exposed concrete, neutral colors and natural elements, the children's room has a timeless design, with loose furniture that can be moved and adapted as the child grows. The handmade mobile with birds carved in wood, made by the artist from Pernambuco Gegê Pedrosa especially for the space, is eye-catching. Watercolors by the artist Fabiana Queiroga and the floral painting done manually by the artist Ricardo de Deus complete the space. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Miguel Gustavo - Deca Experience. The environment was inspired by ethnic themes with a sensorial idea, where the visitor will have an impact upon entering the space due to the natural materials used. Wood and stone predominate the material palette, along with warm colors and impactful lighting. With 130 m², the project has a bench of sleepers from Minas Gerais and suspended biribas dividing the space, as well as a water mirror with stacked vats that form a sculpture. (Edgard Cesar)
/52 - Hélio Albuquerque - Particu-LAR and Infinite. Focusing on the theme of Particular Infinite, the architect shows a lot of himself through his objects in the 80 m² space that pays homage to his work partner for 27 years, Sonia Peres. The project takes advantage of the existing panel by Athos Bulcão, uses neutral tones and many textures in an environment that confirms that there is no need for major interventions in a renovation to create a contemporary and welcoming space. Highlights include modern furniture, works by Ceschiatti, Burle Marx, Sônia Ebling, Siron, Tarcísio Veloso, Portinari, Picasso, Salvador Dali, Chagal and the LBB lamp by Italian-Brazilian architect Lina Bo Bardi. (Edgard Cesar)
