After 14 exhibitions throughout Brazil (and also in Bolivia!) it is necessary to recognize: the 2021 edition of
CASACOR has come to an end. In a period of still so much uncertainty, on the threshold of returning to socialization, CASACOR was like a breath of fresh air. fresh air, with hundreds of
inspirations to renew the home – and ourselves – with positive energy, affection and, of course, great taste . Throughout the year, we kept an eye on readers' impressions of the exhibitions, which led us to this compilation:
13 environments chosen by the public as favorites from the 2021 editions of CASACOR . These are bedrooms, kitchens, living rooms and much more that won in number of votes in the
polls for each show. Check it out below!
1. CASACOR Sao Paulo : Bella Vita Kitchen, by Alexandre Squassoni
To open our compilation, the special
Bella Vita kitchen, by
Alexandre Squassoni . The project is based on the principle that the kitchen is the heart of the home and thinks of the table as a space for celebrations. The architect (who debuted for the first time at the exhibition) !) was the winner of the poll about the

The loft is a type of contemporary housing that has been gaining popularity due to its versatile possibilities of use. Among the lofts in the show, the one
chosen by readers as their favorite is
Casa Voktum , designed by
Barbara Nobre . The space, which combines colors, nature, art and functionality, has a special touch: a garden with 380 white orchids that lead the visitor inside.
3. CASACOR Paraná : Intimate Living Duratex, by Alessandro Cavalcanti and Ricardo Makhoul

The
Duratex Intimate Living Room was guided by the search for comfort and warmth in human relationships. The proposal by
Alessandro Cavalcanti and
Ricardo Makhoul presents solutions for coexistence, work and proximity between users. In the survey about the living rooms at CASACOR Paraná, the environment
won with 44.9% of the votes .
4. CASACOR Santa Catarina : Veredas Authorship Design, by Natália Xavier
The classic book "Grande Sertão Veredas", by Guimarães Rosa, is the starting point for this environment by
Natália Xavier .
Veredas Autoria Design , named after the modernist novel, also seeks to be a representation of Brazilianness, with materials, fabrics and 100% Brazilian design pieces. The space won as the best environment at
CASACOR Santa Catarina 2021 .
Period furniture is the main attraction of the
Piano Room . In the space, for example, there is a large 19th-century D. José dresser, original to the house – the Palacete Brando Barbosa, where
CASACOR Rio 2021 took place. In the décor,
Luiz Fernando Grabowsky sought to mix the eras and also bring contemporary and national furniture, which guaranteed its position as
the favorite living room in the show .
6. CASACOR Rio de Janeiro: Home Office & Games, by Caco Borges and Carolina Haubrich

One of the
complete residences created at CASACOR 2021,
Vivenda dos Ventos won with the
most beautiful bathroom in Ceará . For the project,
André Monte sought to channel the lifestyle of the people of Ceará: open to the wind and sun, the cozy balcony was created to to be discovered little by little, with each corner making it even more special.
For her space, Sarita Ávila sought inspiration in the Mediterranean and went after elements that could
convey the feeling of being facing the sea . This is the principle that guaranteed the
Mediterranean Balcony the title of
favorite gourmet space at CASACOR Ribeirão Preto 2021. Versatile , the space to relax and enjoy the view also has an area to cook with the family and enjoy meals together.
9. CASACOR Brasília : Urban Refuge Loft, by Daniele Franco
Spacious, yet welcoming: the 179 m² project designed by
Daniele Franco is the face of modern times. The so-called
Urban Refuge Loft , which won the
favorite room at CASACOR Brasília 2021 , prioritizes noble and natural materials, such as stone, wood, soft-touch fabrics and light tones to bring comfort to the integrated area.
10. CASACOR Goiás : Coexistence, by Lucas Machado
Inspired by public squares, the 190 m² living room aims
to connect people with each other and with nature . Hence the name:
Convívio , since the environment encourages exchanges between people.
Favorite of CASACOR Goiás 2021 , the project follows the principles of
biophilic design and rescues natural vegetation, inserting it into spaces built by man, connecting greenery to construction.
Another essential space for socializing is the dining room. At
CASACOR Espírito Santo , the space designed by
Renzo Cerqueira won the hearts of the public thanks to the mix of contemporary and minimalist styles, which guaranteed a bold look, reinforced by the play of indirect lighting. . In the
Dining Room , the highlight is the carpentry, which solves the kitchen without taking up much space.
Another exhibition model that marked the 2021 edition of
CASACOR is the Janelas format. In June,
Janelas CASACOR arrived for the first time in Tocantins, bringing with it inspiring projects made in containers. The highlight of the edition was
Refúgio do Lago , which
won the edition's poll , a project designed by
Kanthus Arquitetura . With a color palette that refers to nature, the project invites you to contemplate and enjoy the best that Praia da Graciosa, where the exhibition was installed, has to offer.

In November,
Janelas CASACOR was in
Sergipe for the first time with a variety of ideas under the theme "Healing Spaces". In the
exhibition poll , the winner was
Rincón del Vinho , a project by
Junior Ordoñez , which brings the tradition from the lands where vineyards are awarded and comfort is a strong point.
