On the beach, in the countryside or in a corner of the city, Casa Migrante can be anywhere! Between April 27 and June 26, 2022 , it can be seen in one of the most charming corners of the CASACOR Rio gardens, which it occupies for the second consecutive year at the Brando Barbosa Residence , in the Botanical Garden.

Completely surrounded by the green of the Atlantic Forest , in an area where it is possible to see toucans flying among the trees, the project created by the young architect João Panaggio , who makes his debut at CASACOR , was designed as a weekend home to connect to the nature and relax from the stressful day-to-day life of the city. All this, of course, without giving up comfort and sustainability .

If the stone walls are striking on the outside, there are practically no walls on the inside – just a woven wooden panel that separates the private area from the social area. The only internal door gives access to the bathroom . And, from any angle you look, you can glimpse the beautiful living tableau of the garden.“It is a house with striking architectural features, with many openings to allow natural lighting , a large central wooden panel and a huge skylight in the bedroom that allows you to sleep watching the stars and wake up to sunlight through the trees,” says the architect, who also invested in natural textures in the interior design, such as cambric, linen, oak flooring and ironwood carpentry.
