Casa de Raiz is a 120 m² project dedicated to old houses

The affection of family, the memory of my mother's home and the pleasure of simple things. This is how we can describe Casa de Raiz , a project signed by the duo Mariana Mendonça and Shoraya Canedo at CASACOR Goiás 2021 .

Its name already indicates: the 120 m² project proposes a recovery of memories lived in the family home during childhood. The stone floor reminds us of old homes and the painted walls – which look worn over time – are reminiscent of a mother’s house. In landscaping, the plants remind us of grandma's backyard .
