The large proportions of
Casa da Serra did not prevent Júnior Piacesi from creating a welcoming and comfortable home. The project, which is part of this edition of
CASACOR Minas Gerais , is a refuge for moments of seclusion that occupies a total area of 320 m². Wood, which runs throughout the project in
panels well distributed across the ceiling and walls , brings visual comfort and warmth. Leather stands out in the living room with the
Fardos sofa , by Atelier Ricardo Fasanello.
In the center of the composition, a
jabuticaba tree is strategically positioned to receive abundant sunlight and even rainwater. Enclosed by glass panels,
the residence is fully illuminated and invites greenery into its interior , dissolving the barriers between the house and the surrounding area. and the garden that surrounds it. In addition to the glass, Piacesi opted for
metal louvers to provide even more ventilation and natural lighting inside the residence. Based on the modular concept,
the entire metal structure is quick to assemble , with cement slabs on the floor and light slits on the ceiling.
