A space designed based on the furniture of the painter Lasar Segall and which is also based on contrasts marked by sensory antitheses. This was
Espaço das Interlocuções , by Pedro Lázaro, at
CASA COR São Paulo 2016 .
Inspired by the modernist style of the painter, who created furniture for his own residence, Lázaro brings a project with the same architectural concepts exploring the historical richness of this period.
The space is marked by several pieces reissued by the painter by Etel, such as the Conversadeira sofa, the side table, the wooden chair and the graphic rug, which enhances and adds charm to the Ouro Negro granite floor.
Regarding the dialogue proposed by the environment, according to the professional, "clear contrasts permeate the entire space and reflect the nature of being". The velvet curtain in four colors contrasts with the natural light that invades the space, while the dramatic lighting in its design generates light and dark moments in a stimulating game of light and shadows. Raw concrete walls calmly interact with the massive counter covered in a metallic gold texture that features a bronze bell dating from the 19th century. II BC - this piece has printed designs reminiscent of the work of Frank Stella. Next door, Máximo Ensolado ceramics for possible meals.
You can see an unconventional arrangement of chairs and armchairs that are true invitations to do with them whatever you want; sit down, take them here or there, or just enjoy their inexorable beauty.
The works of art complete and finalize the concept of the space, in contrasts between artists, times, sensations and emotions.
