The outpatient clinic is a beautiful example of São Paulo art deco from the 1940s, but its state of deterioration prevented us from appreciating the details of the building designed by the Frenchman Henri Sejous (1897-1975). Undergoing restoration, led by
CASA COR , it will receive the 70 rooms of the exhibition between May 17 and July 10, 2016. The spaces were developed by renowned professionals and around 30 young talents - and the welcome eclecticism that guides the exhibition does not stop there. After all, the past is present in a repertoire that wanders through the German Bauhaus school, from the beginning of the 20th century. , continues through the art deco of the 1930s and arrives at Brazilian design from the 1940s to the 1970s, with a strong modernist accent. A current reference used in some projects is the Scandinavian style, which cultivates natural light and minimalist design, as well as soft colors.
