CASA COR MG: architects design sustainable house built in one month

At CASA COR Minas Gerais 2016 , BCMF Arquitetos signed an audacious project. The firm's architects, Bruno Campos, Marcelo Fontes and Silvio Todeschi, led the construction of a house in just one month.
In partnership with Lâminus Engenharia, the Industrialized House , or Pre-Fab , was designed based on the multilaminar structural model, a construction method that uses enveloped concrete panel modules of different sizes.
The use of this technology allows for an infinite number of combinations, ease of logistics and improved finishing performance. The construction system is also considered sustainable, as it allows for reduced water, energy and labor consumption.
With a contemporary and uncluttered style, the house has approximately 230 m², three suites, TV room, living room, dining room, kitchen, service area, toilet, a mini-office, swimming pool and garage for four cars.
The trio's objective was to show that it is possible to build a house at reduced cost and time, with a quality as good as or better than traditional constructions.
