From time to time, the Cerrado biome is affected by
natural fires , especially in areas with hotter and drier climates, which favor their occurrence. Very different from man-made arson, the Cerrado
restores its balance through these cyclical natural fires, symbolically reborn through fire.
Casa Cinza Cerrado draws inspiration from this phenomenon.
Nando Nunes ' project at
CASACOR Goiás 2021 plays with the apparent inability of fire to preserve biodiversity and favor the development of the biome.
In this 114 m² loft, this duality is represented from
a space where the resident can be reborn and enjoy free time , connecting with themselves, with others and with the things that make them feel good. Integrating living room, dining room, kitchen and suite, the space is a complete and functional residence.
The
carpentry runs through all the spaces with style, creating a visual unity and
favoring the natural touch of the composition . Wood, as well as other organic materials, run through the loft floor, walls, upholstery and design pieces. The idea is create a home to relax with lots of regionality and symbolism.

Opening hours: Tuesday to Friday, from 3pm to 10pm; Saturdays and Sundays, from 12pm to 10pm. The maximum total time allowed to visit the exhibition is 2h30.
